That's a great restaurant in cebu! I ate there at House of lechon probably 4 times in the 2 weeks I was in cebu this spring. My only complaint was that I couldn't buy more lechon skin! Haha! Watching this video has prompted me to start my planning my return to the Philippines. And if you travel to Bacolode you have to try "Lord Byron's " bbq! It fantastic as well. Thanks for your videos.

both were soo good! The one at the house was original without the spicy seasoning, so it just would come down to preference of whether or not you like spicy or not! One of my favorite things I ate at the birthday party was goat, actually. I don't know why I didn't have that in the video; it was my first time eating goat.

That's balut, fertilized duck egg. Bulalo is beef shank broth. It's really quite good, especially on rainy days. We also go for the marrow in the bone, yummy!!

Lechons are roasted everyday in Cebu, especially in Carcar City, Talisay City, Mandaue City, Lapulapu City where lechon houses and lechon stalls are very common.

You have got me interested in visiting the Philippines this winter. I do have a question. Is it very noisy in all the towns at night? I travel a lot in central America and find that the people there like very loud parties late into the nights. Is it the same there?
Food ordering tip: you may ask the server on "good for how many is the servings", sometimes in a menu its indicated. And of course, it's always comes with rice if its solo meal😁 or Ala carte if you want.
