howdy-- I first hear this song at a Holy Saturday service. I was moved to the song right away, enough that to hear it again---- I went to the Easter sunday Mass. Now when I hear it the first chord, head comes up and the short lady starts looking for the singer, and tears start. Thank you.
I adore this song. Probably more than any. It truly tells the story of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! He died to cover our sins with his precious blood. No one but Jesus. It saddened me when I heard you say once that your priest would determine if you went to Heaven or not. I pray you realize this is not the truth! Only Jesus Christ is our Savior and only he can forgive our sins. I adore this song and to me, it is the best song ever.
Kelley your adaptation of the Leonard Cohen song completes it and gives it meaning and a wonderful message. I've heard his version and while the melody and the Hallelujah touch the soul the rest of his lyrics leave you empty. Thank you for your vision of the song, the lyrics now match the feelings the song evokes and it's the version I carry in my heart.
I came across you singing this at a church with a chior year's ago when you first wrote it...and have searched for this since. I'm glad I just came across you again...LOVE THIS VERSION..YOU HAVE TOUCHED MANY LIVES AND BRING OUR SAVIORS STORY TO LIFE..BEAUTIFUL VOICE. GOD BLESS.
Just wanted to say that this message may be two years old but it still applies today. I have been in love with this song since the first rime I heard you sing it with a girls choir! God bless you, Kelley. 🥰
I know that this was two years ago, but it still applies today. I love this song, and have since the first time I heard you sing it with a girls choir!
Your lyrics and your delivery are the MOST inspired among all the versions. THANK YOU for this gift which speaks to so many and our connection to the Lord.
I love to hear you sing your song. Thank you for sharing it with all of us. It ALWAYS touches me in a way that is just explainable. I just love the tender way you share the story of Jesus upon the cross for all of us. Thanks be to God for his Son Jesus and for you and your song that has reached so many hearts. Hugs and Love from all of us.
I found you because of the Armstrong girls who have done Hallelujah and it’s posted on FB. Their performance is beautiful and I pray they spread the story of Christ’s sacrifice to millions who may not have heard it otherwise, but YOU have blessed me beyond measure. God has and is using you in a mighty way!! What a storyteller you are!! Thank you so much for sharing your gift!!!
Wonderful rendition and adaptation of the great song. Love your work. Hope you have fared well and are safe through this pandemic and that you will be continuing to update this channel with your music. God Bless You.
I'll never forget watching the video on youtube where you sang your "new" song. It was that day I became Facebook friends with you. All the best for you. May you spend your life in wedded bliss.
Since I saw you singing this song with Chorale led by Monette Gould, you Kelley, the chorale members and this verson of the song has lived in my heart. While I love hearing it in any and all performances, your solo performance here with a simple guitar accompaniment has to be my favorite. If you ever do this in a studio where the recording technicalities reserve the tone/volume in the final...please let me know by responding to this comment. I will listen to it daily! God bless you!!!!
(Me too I found you by the cover of the Armstrong sisters and I had the desire to say:) THANK YOU so much for these wonderful lyrics !!!, best fitting to an evergreen melody known as 'Hallelujah' and filling it with words of life and redemption !!! ❤ 'well done my son' - what a good job. \o/ Jesus is Lord. and He is risen indeed. Thank you again 😀 also for your singing. unfortunately i can not fully get the meaning of your message before you start singing, because I'm not a native speaker and because of the technical quality. But I really hope you are doing well just now at the beginning of this special week. God bless you mightily, my sister, as you have blessed thousands or more people by sharing your song. ❤
I'm so glad to meet you and hear your version of Hallelujah...today for the first time! I've watched every version on You Tube! I've also read hundreds of comments...soooo many people convicted and worshiping. ❤✝️❤ It is so moving! I always wondered what the original words meant. Your words are inspired. Thank you so much for sharing your gifts on behalf of our wonderful Savior. ❤✝️❤
You do know that she wrote the lyrics to this version? It's just beautiful I've been hooked since the first time I heard her sing it with the choir with Ms. Gould.
Thank you Kelly for the lyrics to your Hallelujah. Every Easter your Hallelujah rejuvenates my soul!🙏✝️
Hallelujah!!! Jesus Christ - Humanity’s Savior and Redeemer ✝️

That’s my favorite version of this song, I bet I have listened to it 100 times. With the choir in the background makes it so emotional and moving.
