@@S0LILOQUY shit 2 years ago I was 21 without any real direction in my life doing what any other 21 year old would do, I still probably have no direction but I had a son this year and now my life has some purpose. I feel like I wasn’t doing anything before having a kid, I’ve traveled a lot but the satisfaction of being a father to a child there’s just nothing like it. What made you ask ?
Saying you don't want to pretend to get Clay Feet is honest and mature. You could have just crapped on it and moved on. Kudos. I think artists need room to flounder and try without everyone pointing out their trying to head out in a different direction.
I love all of Earl's styles, but his style around the time of Doris was the style he really could've gotten big in the industry with I feel like. The collabs around that time he did with Mac, Vince, and Domo Genesis were so great. That was his timeless sound. Don't get me wrong I love him now, but his multi syllabic rhymes back then were so crazy and complex. But personally I like I Don't Like Shit I Don't Go Outside, it was just so much more relatable than anything else. It was more emotion and less lyricism and cool beats.
It's kind of dissapointing that my absolute favorite types of earl songs, are tracks like: whoa, and Earl. I know he's not gonna make songs like that anymore, but I love some rap songs just as much.
Over the years my tastes have changed and I don't listen to Earl as heavy as I used to, but this man is always gonna be my favorite. I can still go back to Doris and IDLSIDGO and recite damn near every word. He inspired me to start rapping. He legit changed my life. Top 5 dead or alive in my book. And my personal GOAT.
Great Video an really enjoyed it. Earl is one of my favorite rappers. I really have a great connection with his music as his rhythm, lyrics, and production are a type of art that is only unique to those who look for it. some find his music depressing (although it is) I actually find happiness in his tracks, I always said because Earl music brings me happiness as its of dark subject matter that make me relate to it.
I wouldnt agree that some rap songs is his magnum opus, but yea everyone got his own opinion. Honestly I dislike every album/EP release since IDLSIDGO.
Earl is definitely my favorite rapper of all time. One of the best artistic evolutions of today even better than Tyler imo
Same dawg it’s just different 🔥🔥🔥🤦♂️😤
Mac and Earl my top 2 .
Don't try to compare tyler and earl earl is a legend put tyler made him pop up
He can say whatever he wants, he is saying in his opinion, it’s his preference not yours
Ngl i liked his old shit better i like his newer stuff but its kinda samey now imo
The wait for Doris to drop was one of the longest waits ever
I remember those days. Time flies too quick.
Earl self titled still goes hard
I remember first listening to Earl for the first time, I wanted to know everything about thebe after this
Todays Solace Sunday, bump it one time!
