Honestly it’s more than likely worms. My wittle kitten, Prince. I just got off the street in January , same thing took him to three different vets because the first one said he had FIP turns out it was worms that’s extremely hard to see. Gave him the medicine for the worms, and some antibiotics. His little belly is completely normal now, and no more goopy eyes or ears. I wish I could send you pictures. I was honestly surprised the vet brought up FIP first instead of a combo infection, because the combo is way more common and Pip doesn't have a fever. FIP is a thing to consider and Pip should be isolated until it is confirmed it is not that, but I wouldn't push FIP as the more likely scenario.
My cat had this as well . This is not one of those comments who just say this for attention his name was angelo and he also was from a hoarding situation but it was a person in my neighborhood and when they found the person she abonded all the cats and her house and thankfully we got one of the kittens and he honestly meant the world to me but he sadly didn’t make it, I’m praying so much for pip and just stay strong, it’s hard but you are such a wonderful person and you shouldn’t go threw this , no one should and no cat should . I agree she should take a break if she needs it. It’s so weird feeling that I normally deal with sad situations in my personal life by watching Stacy’s videos. It helps me escape. I'm really scared for Milque too! Disinfect EVERYTHING, use gloves when treating Pip and throw them away afterwards, wear a seperate set of clothes when with Pip and shoes, basically just make sure no fip germs can get too Pip. My advice- watch Kitten Lady

PLEASE GET A 2ND OPINION! Stacy, I am not kidding. I had a respected vet's office misdiagnose the young Siamese cat I had previously, they gave him meds that made him worse, and that actually killed him. By the time this was all acknowledged, it was too late. Also, remember how the vet said that it could be parasites? But, then, "Well, if money isn't an issue?..." Some of these vet's offices are turning a heck of a profit, and I had to learn that the hard way. The most important thing is to be diligent, and do your own research! This is your cat, not the vet's (Just as it is your life when you get a life-threatening diagnosis.). They can give you some tools, testing, etc., but they are not going to genuinely CARE as you do (I'm sorry to say this, but I've been in the field, and it is simply the truth.). It is not a good sign that this vet was leaning toward or putting the idea into your head of putting Pip down prior to any testing being done! Please think about the implications of that. Sounds like he already had his mind made up, doesn't it? Please don't ever take one opinion on something so serious, and DO NOT go into a second vet's office telling them 'xyz this is what the last vet said' as I swear that some doctors/vets prefer to back each other up first and foremost. I have heard entirely different things from doctors/vets according to whether or not they knew what a previous doc/vet had to say. You want a second UNBIASED opinion. Most importantly, try to keep your spirits up. Sending prayers and love your way.
AaliRose Be I saw her tweet prior to posting. I did not see anything about an unbiased second opinion in it, though. Even in this video she says he was actually diagnosed with it (As this is what the initial vet told her.), but then in the description of the video it says "there's no 100% diagnosis available for this disease." The treatment can often be the killer in cases of misdiagnosis, and I know this firsthand. I just want everyone to learn to be more cautious of vets that are suggesting putting an animal down prior to testing being completed. That is absolutely outrageous, and it should be a huge red flag. Anyway, I hope for the best regardless of whether he has it or not.
My cat was diagnosed with this same thing too. We had two cats, both with Feline Leukemia. He was 10 months old, we had him for 4 months and he passed away on Saturday. About two or three weeks after he was diagnosed. He sneezed a lot, stopped jumping, stopped eating, stopped drinking, threw up a lot, and his stomach was swollen but I could feel his bones, and eventually, passed away. But, I know he is in heaven with God and even though I miss him a lot, I made the most of his life and I know you will make the most of Pips life too. My cat had the same symptoms and things. I held his paw and kissed his forehead until the end. I hope you have a good life with Pip. Just pray and remember that if he does die, you will see him in heaven some day. Praying for you! ❤️🙏
When my cats were barely born they had the same thing and all I did was clean their eyes a lot and make sure they were in a well ventilated area that was clean. Now they are living happy and healthy. Stay strong Stacy
Dear Stacy, I have three cats of my own. One of them my dad rescued off the streets and the other two we adopted from a local shelter. When we adopted the two kittens they were only two months old (we adopted them just after there spay and neuter). There names are Tyson and Finley. Just after we adopted them Finley got very sick. She was throwing up all the time and refusing to eat. At that point we were very worried so we took them to the vet. The vet said she would be fine but I was not convinced. I prayed for her and I told myself she would get better, and she did. I pray that little pip gets better
Stacy, don't be too upset, my cat was diagnosed with the same Disorder in 2013 when she was two months old, she flew through it and is now happy and 5 years old. Pip will get through it, and if not, we will all be here with you. Remember everything you have gone through with Paige, Molly, Polly and Milquetoast? They all got through it with flying colours, and their beautiful little brother will be so supported my us all. Of course you will be in a huge state of sadness, and obviously we're all going to let you have your break for as long as you need. We are all praying and hoping for Pip, and will support you for as long as you need to stay away from UA-cam.

There is this YT channel called Kitten Lady. She might have some advice that might help Pip live. She is a professional foster cat mom and knows a lot about kittens and her advice might help a whole lot. I think she did a video on how to treat kittens with this disease, it was either that or some other disease I don't remember the name of. Edit: The disease that Kitten Lady showed how to treat is called Panluekapenia, not FIP, sorry. :(

Look into milk thistle, it was recommended to a friend by a holistic vet to help her dog with his liver problems and can also be used on cats. Look into it, apparently its commonly used by pet owners. It actually kept him alive for years, he was a Great Dane that lived to be 14. It may save Pip's life. Lots of love

Hi Stacy, I've never seen one of your videos before but I am very well versed in FIP. I adopted two kittens from the same litter and they were both diagnosed with FIP shortly after. If your vet talked to you about FIP then you know that it is extremely rare (only about 2-3% of cats have it) so my case was exceptionally unlucky. One of them (Stella) had wet FIP and she went pretty fast, maybe about 2 months after she had been diagnosed. The other (Armani) had dry FIP and he stuck around a little longer but sadly this disease is 100% fatal. A good support group to join is on TheCatSite. They have a group specifically dedicated to owners who's fur babies are going through, or have succumbed to FIP. I am so so so sorry that this is happening to you. Trust me when I say that I know what you are going through. It is the worst kind of pain knowing that your little one is suffering and there's absolutely nothing you can do to help, it's especially frustrating because there is no known test that 100% diagnoses FIP. I will be sending positive vibes and prayers to you and pip, there have been some cats who survive years with this disease and some who have been misdiagnosed, but just know that if pip doesn't make it, he'll have two little friends waiting for him at the rainbow bridge. ❤️ 🌈

I lost my dog when I was 7 I am now 11 and just know that even though he might go he will still love you tell the very end and that the time that you have him you need to love him and you can't think the worst that is just no good and that will never change that he is ill and just hope for the best
There is hope, my cat Rosie had Feline Infections Peritonitis ( She's had it since birth ) and she is 5 on August the 7th, she is very tiny but a really great cat. I hope that baby Pippy will get better and I wish you hope and I want you to know that I will be here to support you with this.
My cat died from this....at first she was getting better with the antibiotic but within 2 days she got really sick and died right next to me. I miss Tigerra a lot. But I pray that Pip is more successful in surviving and growing strong! #PrayForPip
my cat died of FIP also, he started getting jaundice. one day he had a seizure and before we could make it to the vet he had already passed. I will pray for pip too and hope he has a better fate than that of my cat.

PLEASE GET A 2ND OPINION! Stacy, I am not kidding. I had a respected vet's office misdiagnose the young Siamese cat I had previously, they gave him meds that made him worse, and that actually killed him. By the time this was all acknowledged, it was too late.
Also, remember how the vet said that it could be parasites? But, then, "Well, if money isn't an issue?..." Some of these vet's offices are turning a heck of a profit, and I had to learn that the hard way.
The most important thing is to be diligent, and do your own research! This is your cat, not the vet's (Just as it is your life when you get a life-threatening diagnosis.). They can give you some tools, testing, etc., but they are not going to genuinely CARE as you do (I'm sorry to say this, but I've been in the field, and it is simply the truth.). It is not a good sign that this vet was leaning toward or putting the idea into your head of putting Pip down prior to any testing being done! Please think about the implications of that. Sounds like he already had his mind made up, doesn't it?
Please don't ever take one opinion on something so serious, and DO NOT go into a second vet's office telling them 'xyz this is what the last vet said' as I swear that some doctors/vets prefer to back each other up first and foremost. I have heard entirely different things from doctors/vets according to whether or not they knew what a previous doc/vet had to say. You want a second UNBIASED opinion.
Most importantly, try to keep your spirits up. Sending prayers and love your way.

AaliRose Be I saw her tweet prior to posting. I did not see anything about an unbiased second opinion in it, though. Even in this video she says he was actually diagnosed with it (As this is what the initial vet told her.), but then in the description of the video it says "there's no 100% diagnosis available for this disease."
The treatment can often be the killer in cases of misdiagnosis, and I know this firsthand. I just want everyone to learn to be more cautious of vets that are suggesting putting an animal down prior to testing being completed. That is absolutely outrageous, and it should be a huge red flag. Anyway, I hope for the best regardless of whether he has it or not.

My cat was diagnosed with this same thing too. We had two cats, both with Feline Leukemia. He was 10 months old, we had him for 4 months and he passed away on Saturday. About two or three weeks after he was diagnosed. He sneezed a lot, stopped jumping, stopped eating, stopped drinking, threw up a lot, and his stomach was swollen but I could feel his bones, and eventually, passed away. But, I know he is in heaven with God and even though I miss him a lot, I made the most of his life and I know you will make the most of Pips life too. My cat had the same symptoms and things. I held his paw and kissed his forehead until the end. I hope you have a good life with Pip. Just pray and remember that if he does die, you will see him in heaven some day. Praying for you! ❤️🙏

Dear Stacy,
I have three cats of my own. One of them my dad rescued off the streets and the other two we adopted from a local shelter. When we adopted the two kittens they were only two months old (we adopted them just after there spay and neuter). There names are Tyson and Finley. Just after we adopted them Finley got very sick. She was throwing up all the time and refusing to eat. At that point we were very worried so we took them to the vet. The vet said she would be fine but I was not convinced. I prayed for her and I told myself she would get better, and she did.

Stacy, don't be too upset, my cat was diagnosed with the same Disorder in 2013 when she was two months old, she flew through it and is now happy and 5 years old. Pip will get through it, and if not, we will all be here with you. Remember everything you have gone through with Paige, Molly, Polly and Milquetoast? They all got through it with flying colours, and their beautiful little brother will be so supported my us all. Of course you will be in a huge state of sadness, and obviously we're all going to let you have your break for as long as you need. We are all praying and hoping for Pip, and will support you for as long as you need to stay away from UA-cam.

There is this YT channel called Kitten Lady. She might have some advice that might help Pip live. She is a professional foster cat mom and knows a lot about kittens and her advice might help a whole lot. I think she did a video on how to treat kittens with this disease, it was either that or some other disease I don't remember the name of. Edit: The disease that Kitten Lady showed how to treat is called Panluekapenia, not FIP, sorry. :(

Look into milk thistle, it was recommended to a friend by a holistic vet to help her dog with his liver problems and can also be used on cats. Look into it, apparently its commonly used by pet owners. It actually kept him alive for years, he was a Great Dane that lived to be 14. It may save Pip's life. Lots of love

I've never seen one of your videos before but I am very well versed in FIP. I adopted two kittens from the same litter and they were both diagnosed with FIP shortly after. If your vet talked to you about FIP then you know that it is extremely rare (only about 2-3% of cats have it) so my case was exceptionally unlucky. One of them (Stella) had wet FIP and she went pretty fast, maybe about 2 months after she had been diagnosed. The other (Armani) had dry FIP and he stuck around a little longer but sadly this disease is 100% fatal. A good support group to join is on TheCatSite. They have a group specifically dedicated to owners who's fur babies are going through, or have succumbed to FIP. I am so so so sorry that this is happening to you. Trust me when I say that I know what you are going through. It is the worst kind of pain knowing that your little one is suffering and there's absolutely nothing you can do to help, it's especially frustrating because there is no known test that 100% diagnoses FIP. I will be sending positive vibes and prayers to you and pip, there have been some cats who survive years with this disease and some who have been misdiagnosed, but just know that if pip doesn't make it, he'll have two little friends waiting for him at the rainbow bridge. ❤️ 🌈

There is hope, my cat Rosie had Feline Infections Peritonitis ( She's had it since birth ) and she is 5 on August the 7th, she is very tiny but a really great cat. I hope that baby Pippy will get better and I wish you hope and I want you to know that I will be here to support you with this.
