I dont mean to make this long winded but the thought strikes my curiosity... In light of all the things coming out, specifically about Vince - and i want to be clear, i do not care about the wrestling facade, im talking strictly about vinces criminal endeavors and really how its jarring. I mean it must be hell for anyone even loosely associated with Vince who really had nothing to do with anything, even more alarming for those who have insight. I mention this not bc i care to break it down about anyone but possibly Chris. One of the questions most people jump to when considering chris's final actions, is what drives a man to do what he did? Most people, who really dont know any better, rest on the idea that it was roid rage, and even for me, someone who has never done roids but has been exposed to it my entire life, i never really bought into the idea that it was roids. Typically(i hate to say typically bc this isnt a typical situation) but typically when someone, a man, kills his wife and kids, that derives from some great inner shame, a shame that someone is willing to kill for in that he hopes those he loved never have to live with the fact that theyre dealing with a monster. A man who has snapped still has motive. I said all of that not bc i wish to dirty chris's name more than he already has, but i cant help but wonder if chris was in some way associated with all this insanity that vince was up to and he (chris) just couldnt bare to stomach that news ever getting back to his wife and kids, so he did what he did. Side note: i had friends growing up, whose father was out of the picture due to his shameful actions. One day their father snapped and came to the house to kill the then new boyfriend of their mother, the mother and us kids. Thankfully us kids got out, unfortunately the then new boyfriend did not. Im not empathizing with either of these actions, but if chris did have some skeltons in his closest in refrence to these allegations against vince and jonny Laurentiis, his actions, as unsettling as they are, just became a whole lot clearer

@@montethepharaohli1prowrestling the thing is though, if Chris just killed himself it would be easier for me to believe that he was just suffering from a severe case of depression that may of been onset by CTE possibly - like I could rest on that belief The fact he killed his wife and kids, as twisted as this may sound, I feel like came from his irrational sense to protect them of the possible shame he may bring on the family. So to stop his family from having to live with that shame, well, I mean he did what he did. Part of me wants to be wrong bc as a kid growing up watching this stuff I always respected the way Chris carried himself as a man. @@KrikZ32 few things you're leaving out that are now considered absolute fact about the Hernandez case; 1: Hernandez was afraid to live with the shame of homosexual allegations coming out 2: Hernandez killed the man associated to the allegations and thought he'd get away with it before ultimately taking his own life. Something to consider, if Hernandez wasn't locked up when he took his own life, he could of gone down a eerily similar path as Chris, considering Hernandez already made up his mind, at least to the point to comitt murder and try to cover the tracks. Junior seau took his own life but no one elses. Seau suffered from clinical depression but as far as we know, wasn't brought upon because of some deeper shame. That's closer to the cause of CTE than either Hernandez or Benoit bc as far as anyone's cared to tell it, seau was a stand up guy who was very loved by all who knew him. Interesting you bring up Hernandez tho, bc CTE or not, we know Hernandez had some deeper shame - which if I'm being clear, I don't care if he was a closet homosexual or not. Life goes on. But he clearly couldn't live with that ever being talked about. What I was suggesting about Chris (potentially) is Chris being apart of Vinces debauchery at some point and feeling so ashamed that the shame outweighed everything else, so he did what Hernandez did to a degree.

Something is very off with the official account of the Benoit family tragedy. Supposedly he killed his wife on the late Friday night, he then killed his son the following morning, before committing suicide on the Sunday evening. So he spent almost 48 hours alone in the house with his dead wife and kid. That isn't an act of uncontrollable roid rage. That suggests that something else was at play. Then there is the case of the mysterious wikipedia entry on the night of his death. Remember, that same evening, he was scheduled to wrestle CM Punk for the ECW championship at the now defunct Vengeance pay per view event. The entry log of the wikipedia page for the event initially said he was absent 'due to grieving the death of his wife and son'. This was deleted within minutes, and instead the post was edited to read 'absent due to personal issues'. Apparently the post was sent to WWE headquarters, but there was no back up or investigation and thus the murder-suicide account became the accepted version of events. In truth, almost 17 years later, we will never know the full story of what really happened on that infamous weekend. It is a mystery and will likely forever remain that way
The Wikipedia entry was explained back in 2007. You're not some brilliant detective, dude. And, no, the post was not sent by WWE. Chris murdered his family. The end.
