I owned a 2001 TW, but I rode this "trail" on my '74 CT90...
That slide you encountered at 10:54 was there when I did this trail however, there is a slide up around the next switchback, where I had to walk my bike across...kicked a lot of rocks aside.
That slide there is indeed a trail-ender, but thanks for taking me back! Incredible to see how badly overgrown it has become...Mother Nature reclaims!
A bunch of the DSBC boys do the Run to the Border every now and then, you should hook up with them! Also maybe try it in the fall, when you lose a lot of the vegetation...

A few years ago, the stretch of road you're riding at41:55 had fourteen slides across it and at one point, the entire road washed away into the canyon below....took a couple of years for the riders and quad'ers to establish some paths through all of it...then the logging companies wanted access to the area again, so they cleared/rebuilt the road.
Another place you might want to check out is the road to Williamson Lake at 49.12688, -121.57383 near Foley Lake. The road was rough and there were a few slides along the way, last time I was up there about 8 - 10 years ago, but if you're into hiking the lake is a beautiful destination.
Or, if you continue East of Foley along the FSR, it will eventually lead to the trailhead to Ling Lake...however there was an impassable slide there a few years ago as well, and I don't know if they've ever repaired it.
Once you've had your fill of this valley, you can always head out to the Skagit Valley near Hope...lots of great riding around there too!
