I still love the concept of Driver Parallel Lines. I like how you were playing in 70s but then suddenly when you think the game ends, you start playing in 2006 where everything almost changes. I was blown away by this thing at that time! I felt like I was playing 2 different games!
yeah, i remember the cut scene were TK try to figure out how a remote control work, its like time travelling for those guys who were a long time in the can

@@conlosmorchitti5832 Lol bruh how didn't you know. The whole selling point of Driver Parallel Lines was the time era change feature where you could play in 2 different time periods.
@@MrBlonde294 I also remember how in 2006, everything turned into a 'blue color scheme' like the HUD and even the world felt more cold/blue. It really felt like you were in the 'future' in a way.

I was disappointed in Driver 2. The frame rates made it horrible.
@@Cyginjv6vu The frame rate was abysmal but even today I find that part of the games charm. I was young enough that it didn't bug me then and I'm nostalgic enough that it doesn't bug me now lol
@@u0aol1 That’s fair; I was an adult at the time of release and thought the development team should have waited to release it on PS2. Nostalgia is always great, though.
Driver one and two need a remake. It's an underrated game.

I was always a fan of GTA but I still played hours and hours of Driv3r, it was a fun game
Driv3r menu sountrack is amazing. All those years passed, I still love it.
I remember as a kid how I thought that graphics can't get much better than Driver 2 when it came out :D
Driver was great but Driver 2 was one of my favorite games at the time.
This franchise needs a comeback!

Even by 2022 standards, Driver San Francisco still looks awesome. I loved that game, sad they probably won't make any more Driver games

That game was so lame I remember renting it and returning it. The driver games were never great, but I did have some fun with the intro Mission on driver 1, and when I was very very dumb, I liked parallel lines. But I wasn't smart enough to appreciate anything. It was like being a npc that was programmed to just like things.

3 brings unmatched nostalgia…. The music, the Miami home, the sunset/views…. Just so feel good

I've ever only played Driver 3. Still have it to this day for the PS2. Played it when I was a kid and it had some groovy music. Didn't do much on it other than just drive around certain maps and get killed by that guy in the ocean cave.

I love how the Free Roaming mode in Driv3r had NPCs walking and driving around, yet it still had that dead multiplayer/empty Gmod map feel to it, like you were alone but not really alone, like something was going to jump at you at any time
Driver 1 and 2 are glorious. Had so much fun playing those games on my PS1. First ever console I owned!
The first one had such tight controls. They really made you work to control drift so when you got good at it you felt really accomplished.
The way you feel the car in all Driver games is better than other games.
This series must continue. Last Game, Driver San Francisco, was very funny, with all the storyes and people talking when you switch randomly between cars; very original and awsome Game. Underrated.

I had so much fun on driver 1 and 2 ! Driving in open cities like this felt insane.
Excellent memories came back to me after seeing driver San Francisco. I remember driving like a pro and watching my replays and editing them. Amazing game.
i have played driver 3 on ps2 and i still remember the police chasing at the mountains and the main car and the house and how the car drowns at the sea i used to jump into the sea with the main car and go on top of it
I think Driver 3 was quite underrated, I played the H*ll out of that game!
Driver 3 actually was a good game though it filled with bugs and glitchss. But it's still enjoyable due to the action-packed gameplay and also, somehow it feels fun when you starting to mess around with the cops, because they're slightly more smarter than GTA series at the time.

Driver 2 and San Francisco own a special place in my heart
3:15 I love this vibe of the sunset in Miami while riding a boat in Driver 3. Even though the game has its problems and I got stuck in the third to last mission and abandoned the game because of it, I love the ambience, it gives a feeling of immersion. I'm still going to play again, trying to pass that mission or starting over.
Im sitting here now and just installed the DRV SF and OMG it still have an awesome feel as I remember it in 2012 when I first time bought it. One on the most underrated games ever! At least on my list.

Replace the last one by Driver 3 and that's my top 3 :).

Driver 3 could’ve been absolutely incredible. It still holds immense nostalgic value to me, but still, it’s a shame.
There's my city Nice in it so i've the same feelings, playing a game in a map you know in real life is really cool

Remembered renting 2 and Parallel Lines and having mixed feelings but was seriously impressed with San Francisco for 360. Definitely wanna get me a copy
Despite it's different tone, I do like how San Fran briefly calls back to Driv3r. Driv3r also briefly calls back to Driver 2. The cannon is there... It's still kinda weird to imagine San Francisco Tanner doing the things that Driv3r Tanner would. Like that time Tanner almost willingly killed a cop to keep his cover intact.

Driver 1, and 2 needs a complete reboot or remastered. And Driv3r aswell.
I really love Driver 2 the story was amazing plot was well written Jericho, Caine, and Brazilian gangsters were iconic villains from 1st to Driver 2 and 3rd game. *And Timmy Virmicelli was a hilarious reference to Tommy Vercetti from GTA Vice City*
I hope it has gameplay mechanics from True Crime Streets of LA mechanic fighting criminals on foot. And Tanner car has radio where cops can communicate him about crimes taking places and being able to arrest criminals. And has different varieties of weapons.
And on foot exploration of GTA 5 being able to jump over small walls and climb over it and climbing ladders and being able to explore cities on foot and cars and trains and by planes and chopper will make it really good game!
They all do except for the speedboat one its only 8 years old

I played the very first one all the time when I was much younger lol. I couldn’t wait to get home from school to play it.
Driver 3 and parallel lines were by far my favorite games mainly due to the fact your not stuck to just driving the car and can free roam and move around

One thing I remember as a kid, was seeing Tanner’s shadow on the ground in Driver 2 while running. They clearly modeled a gun in his hands in the shadow. But it never made it into the game until Driv3R came out.

Mannnnn parallel lines was the best when I was a kid, I used to keep my PS2 running for months on end so I didn't lose where I was up to cause I didn't have a memory card. Miss those days of sitting on the floor with the ol box tv a ps2.
It's sad I never played any Driver games after Driver 2. The only one I did was Driver San Francisco but it doesn't really retain the feel of a classic Driver game. I definitely wanna play Driver 3. Driver 1 made me fall in love with the series I played it soo much as a kid.

I had driver 1 and 2.. I remember some nights staying up all night to beat the missions LOL... 1999 I was 11 years old.
Driver 2 was near impossible lol for me when being a kid but much more easy when I played it like 3 years ago
Yet still challenging especially as time mission
The physics of 1 and 2 were crazy sometimes- insane crash spins at street poles, collisions in small places with police cars, and sometimes going airborne because of pushing the limits of hit boxes.

Driver and Driver 2 is no doubt the most hardest game to complete, despite for its driving physics, but yet, a good game.

A curious fact (which perhaps most already know) the Driver franchise never ended, they were making a new game and had the idea of putting a hacker theme into it. They later noticed that the game was straying so far from the original idea of the franchise that they changed the name of the project to Watch Dogs.
