The switches go out within 6 months to 1 year and causes double click issues. Logitech is one of the only brands that allows rapid click macros directly on the mouse. Razor and other brands do not allow it because they decided it's cheating. Logitech doesn't believe that type of regulation should be forced on people. And it's a good thing too because the switches wouldn't keep up with rapid clicking for long.
@@Monochrome_I It is well documented all over UA-cam, forums, and reviews, that Logitech uses switches rated for 5v/10mA at 3.3v/1mA and are prone to failure due to incorrect voltage, and cheap manufacturing with low rate binning. If you don't know what any of that means, then please evaluate your comment and try again.
@@HalkerVeil Why would he have to evaluate his comment because of what's happening to other people... If it's working for him that long then he's doing something right lol, also chill out man! It ain't that deep!
@@Monochrome_I That's because 5 years ago (when you got yours) they were still good. They're made cheaper now and only last a year. My first one was bought 6 years ago, and it last until last year. So 5 years. When it died last year, I bought another and it only lasted 8 months. This is a very common experience for newer G502's.
Thanks bro 👏❤ I saw the mouse on it, I searched and saw people's opinions were mixed, but after your video that it's good . I don't see a so many reviews but i think i will buy it .
damn, you have the exact same map-mouse pad as me. anyway, can the DPI button be removed from the G502 Hero like with the G502 X? its exactly where i usually would put my thumb
The G502 is way more comfortable to me and just feels better overall. But this is subjective since I have larger size hands. I'm still using the G502 and no problems or issues and still comfortable. Thanks for watching.
I used to have the G600, I loved it, but it suffered from a double-clicking problem that was prevalent after 1 year of use and grew worse over time. I am now looking at the G502, so keep that in mind. I only used the buttons in the G600 at the time because it was helpful playing RTS games especially Warhammer 2. If you are worried about reliability then I'd say that you should go with the G502.
The button at the thumb made me regret buying this big time. I like having a full grip of the mouse and permenantly having a huge dpi button under my thumb is anything but confortable
It's not very obvious, but you can detach that switch if its in the way of the thumb by just pulling on it (its magnetically attacked). You can rotate it 180 degrees and see if its better the sticking out bit further away OR you can replace it a magnetic flat cover. It still works as a button but doesn't get in the way of your thumb if you have large hands.
@@lilfreezie6302 I disagree. While it's a negative/con for you, the extra buttons and their customize-able functionality is a plus/positive for me. And they don't mess with my grip.
Do u guys recommend this? Because as a person who can easily lift smth as light as 110 grams and has hands that are 7 inches big, i see this as a good option but ive never used a gaming mouse before so i want yall’s suggestions and opinions on this.
I bought it and the scroll wheel was good at first and actually took finger strength to scroll(not alot of like it had weight) and then I redid my entire room, maybe I hit it on accident but now the scroll wheel is loose, could you help?
the G hub software is horrible, it is slow and somehow uninstalled himself when trying to update it. trying to reinstall it ? you cant, it says its already installed. In other words: my registry got screwed over. As Windows doesn't show it anywhere.
dude im looking for a video explaining why this mouse sometimes lets me adjust the speed of the cursor with the side buttons and why they are sometimes just dead buttons .. help
I use the g502 with all the extra weights. its the first mouse i havent accidently lifted while gaming. only downside is the ghost clicking after a few years but by then i just got another one 😂

It’s perfect for 3 finger mouse users, especially for Fortnite, that game alone is the reason this mouse is selling at such high numbers.
