Arrow is Goldtip Ultralight 400 with 100 grain brass Insert and a 200 grain 3 bladed solid VPA broadhead. Total arrow weight is 570 grain.

Roe deer is hard to hunt even with compound bow and you done it with recurve. Amazing hunt Peter congratulations.
I've never seen that happen before. Usually it's a lot of tracking over hill and dale. I knew a guy who would take a tricky shot when the deer was directly under the tree. He would shoot for the spine directly above the hips and cut the main artery. I never saw so much blood and it looked as if the deer only made one or two jumps before he bled out. He did it twice while I hunted with him and both deer were within 10 yards of the stand. Congratulations Peter.

Good call on the third arrow! Many would’ve let the deer expire with only 2 arrows and wait it out.
Now imagine you get stopped on the side of the road in a road block looking like that ha ha.....

A nice video with good shots. I have been quite sick for the past ten years with brain tumors and a heart problem so oI really appreciate your fine videos. I make my own longbows and arrows but have suffered with the sicknesses but things appear to be straightening out. We will see. God bless you and your trad hunting. Amen, Rick
