Here's how to play the famous jazz standard "Misty" on piano!
"Misty" was composed in 1954 by American jazz pianist Erroll Garner (1923-1977), Johnny Burke later added lyrics to the song.
With this piano sheet music, you can play "Misty" in an arrangement which is not too hard to play, and sounds beautiful!
The whole melody is included in the piano arrangement, so it makes for a beautiful instrumental (piano solo) version.
"Misty" has been recorded by countless famous artists, including Johnny Mathis, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, Frank Sinatra, Sarah Vaughan, Ray Stevens, Count Basie, Bing Crosby, and many others.

Kudos for the Video! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you tried - Riddleagan Smart Hands Remedy (do a search on google)? It is a good one off product for learning piano fast without the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate after a lifetime of fighting got amazing results with it.

Not to be that guy, but at 1:33 in the B section it should be an e-natural/f-flat instead of an f-natural in the melody beacause it's an Eb7b9 chord and not just an Eb9 chord.
I know! Unfortunately I made this mistake when I wrote the arrangement, and didn't notice it when I recorded the video. I corrected the sheet music, but this note will be wrong in the video forever 🥲

I'm a beginner and can't understand how you knew to play d instead of d-flat in the second bar. Doesn't d-flat occur in the key of a-flat major and not d? Shouldn't the sheet music tell you that you need to play a d instead of letting you assume it's d-flat? Thanks for the help!

I like to look at where the flats/sharps are located to see what notes are sharp/flat. For example at the beginning you'll see the e space has a flat. Hope this helps!

why did you play the F natural in the B section instead of keeping in flat like originally composed? just curious because it caught me off guard, beautiful playing otherwise
That was a mistake, it's supposed to be flat. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until I published the video... I'm planning on doing a corrected version when I find the time. Sorry about that, hope you enjoyed it anyway!

Hey! okay, I just found this guy I believe his name is Jonny May. I got an ad on his free jazz piano lessons and I'm watching it right now and it looks very good.
you can go here and click this. there should be a login and signup buttons on the top right. DONT CLICK SIGN UP. CLICK "LOGIN" and right by it to the left there should be "Learning tracks "click that. and there should be beginners and there should be free piano lessons! and if you scroll all the way down there should be a place to enter your email, and it will give you the pain lessons for 10 days! and I think you can download them, but you only have a certain amount of time to view them, I think 5 days. but I'm going to start tomorrow :) he will explain the rest

Which of the two versions you posted the sheet music to are you playing here?
It's the same piano arrangement in both versions! The only difference is that one them includes a vocal staff with lyrics, and the other shows only the piano part.
