Oh yeah that song! Why don’t I know the name?
**”Mozart’s 7.5th Symphony in Eb Minor”**
. . . oh that’s why . . .

6:28 is where Nokia took their inspiration from and is what we now know as the classic Nokia ringtone.
But original it was composed for guitar.
lol yeah
если бы не вы, то я бы и не заметила
The original piece was made and played in a classical guitar.
@@tomastabacek9148 well yes, but that piece (Gran Vals) was also inspired by "Grande valse brillante" wich was composed by Chopin
As a classical pianist my challenge was to guess what piece is in question just by looking at the upcoming notes - and I got 7 right
Hehe😢
The Vampire Song?
Tbf I got 2 and I'm not even a pianist
Claire de Lune is one song that always sticks out to me because it was one of my mom's favorites before she went nuts. I like playing it since the beginning is fairly easy to learn
is that an ultrakill reference?
She went nuts? In what way?
@@bellaknightR597 She did drugs most of my life, but she got into heavier stuff and began to get abusive during my early teens. She just went crazy.
@bombdotcom2168 Oh, I'm sorry that you had to go through that, I hope you and your mom are doing better these days
Yap Yap Yap
As a piano freak I knew all the names myself. Hard to believe people don't know the names for some of them like Claire de Lune, Flight of the Bumblebee or The Entertainer at least.
People 100% know them. When it said pieces you don't know the name of I was expecting much less famous pieces.
I just made myself chuckle at this because I commented the above while it was at Debussy's Clair de Lune and thought to myself "What next? Danse Macabre..?"
I’m not a piano freak and still know most of them 😂
ikr this was like a breeze for us piano freaks
I don’t even play piano and I knew a lot of these

Underrated comment 👏👌👍
The Entertainer is my favorite
It's Händel, not Handel..............
Debussy???☠️
Okay smart alec, Mr. Wise Guy, going and naming all the songs you weren't supposed to know the name of - if you're so knowledgably knowedgable, tell me why Joe died of Ligma.
Austrian here. The Blue Danube Waltz (where I live we just call it the "Donauwalzer") is something that everyone knows. If you go to a formal ball, you can expect this to be played at least once and every New year's Eve, it's played in the radio across the whole country at midnight and everyone dances the waltz to it. It's always special knowing that almost the whole nation is dancing and united by the same song at the same time (Which is why we also call it the "Neujahrswalzer" which means "New Year's Waltz")
Ah yes, I love Debussy

4:53 anyone who lives in the UK knows this from the Check-A-Trade TV ads
Also Sprach Zarathustra is NOT by Wagner, it's by Richard Strauss.
Which leads directly into my next point. You have to elaborate further when using a piece by Strauss. We start at Johann Strauss the Father, then on to his three children Johann Strauss the Son, Josef Strauss, and Eduard Strauss. In just two generations of the Strauss family we have four composers, then go outside the family and find Richard Strauss.
In case anybody wondered An der schönen blauen Donau is by Johann Strauss the Son.
And don't forget Levi
And Richard's father Franz Strauss
Fun fact: Blue Danube also used in Tom and Jerry in the episode where Tom plays a piano in the room that attract people including Jerry who was dancing along with the music.
Blue Danube apparently can be heard in any SpongeBob SquarePants Episodes later on.
Hungarian Rhapsody is also in Tom and Jerry in the episode “Cat Concerto
@@ThatOneGuyRAR but tom played the piano correctly in the beginning during Hungarian Rhapsody intro is the best one too.
I'd say at least 50% of these are in tom and jerry
More notably in the Merry Melodies short Silly Symphonies (featuring Baby Daffy).

If you are even "a little bit" interested in classical music, all these pieces are very well known.
I literally only knew half of these, and for the ones that I didn't know, I mean like, I literally never heard of the piece itself, let alone the name. Bruh why do I even play piano at this point-
I've heard almost all of these before, but only knew the names of 11 of them.
You don't have to even be interested in Classical to know half of these. Everyone here should know at least Boccherini's Minuet, Claire de Lune and Entertainer
@@cerebrummaximus3762 idk the entertainer lmao

Who doesn’t know Clair de lune?
Those who forgor 👍
Yo
Me
some people, ik it's very much surprising for you but that's just how it is, things obvious for you may not be that obvious for others 👍 a nice thing to remember tbh
I know this song cuz Ultrakill level (same level name as song name)
Chopin Nocturne always makes me feel like I'm in a luxury penthouse with very high ceilings, in front of a grand piano just relaxing with champagne overlooking a city or a landscape
The one he does it is a little overcrowded with notes I like the original
Can you play any musical instruments when you're not dreaming?
@@HerbertTowers Dreaming is better than reality anyways, but yeah, I know how to play a bit of piano and drums, not professionally though.
It was always the song that played in my assemblies when I was in primary school
I knew 3 of them: Debussy's Clair de Lune, Satie's Gymnopedie No. 1 (love that one), and Chopin's Nocturne. Most of that knowledge came from video games though (Clair de Lune is in Danganronpa V3 and Gymnopedie No. 1 is in Mother 3)
I see you’re a man of culture as well
I knew Flight of the Bumblebee and Toccata and Fugue in D minor. Clair de Lune I was embarrassed to have not been able to name. I think I recognized about 8-10 of the remaining 17 with no idea of the name.
Clair De Lune is not in danganronpa, you were think of Kaede's execution it is actually Der Flowaltzer, it says so in the execution name. It doesn't even sound remotely like it to me.
I know theses songs too and by the way there is also Clair de Lune in a horror game called The Evil Within, they made a absolutly stunning version that i recomend to check, it s also an important track in the game that you can hear many time
I knew this 20song……
I didn't know "The Entertainer" by Joplin but I knew the tune and it was stuck in my head. So this was exactly what I needed to finally enlighten myself lol. Thank you! 🎹
1:42 YES I WAS LOOKING FOR THAT ONE THANK YOU SO MUCH
I’ve been searching for the name of the first song on this list for 8 months. I cannot thank you enough. I remember the great disappointment of four weeks ago when I was re-watching Stranger Things and I heard it playing on the background of one of the episodes. Unfortunately, no matter how many google searches I tried, this song wouldn’t come up. But you, you have released me from this prison, and for that, I am thankful.
most people find the name of that one by searching "fancy dinner party piano song"
I just use shazam
@@zoltano_cortez Can confirm. It was the first result here on UA-cam
Im not sure about people not knowing flight of the bumblebee or William tell overture those are both classics without being ‘this one persons 57th symphony in g flat’.
But the only reason I knew Zarathustra was bc my marching band had it as a short stands tune.
I have 5 younger siblings and flight of the bumblebee is SO COMMON in kids shows/baby shows. Not knowing it sounds ridiculous to me but then I see all the comments talking about the songs I didn’t know 😭
Realistically, though, given how unlikely it is for a child today to know of The Lone Ranger, it's less likely they'd know William Tell.
I know William tell overture because I heard it a while ago and recognised it, its the tune of these adverts that were on a few years ago for an electrician company (I think) called checkatrade
Thanks for this video, I've be searching so long for the names on alot of these beautiful music pieces
Chopin- Nocturne in E-flat Major, will remain one of my all time favourite classical masterpieces. It is so calming 😊
0:40 YUHHH POP THAT DEBUSSY GIRL 💀 I’m sorry the internet’s ruined me (by Wilbur soot) SEE I’M GONE YOU’VE LOST ME
As a Dutch person who goes to the theme Park “Efteling” I obviously know 11. Danse Macabre by Saint-Saëns. Because in the attraction “Spookslot” this songs plays there and with the setup there, the song really sounds beautiful and it fits perfectly with the attraction.
I didn't recognize it at all from the first two section but the third section I recognized from Jonathan Creek. I should have listened all the way through before looking at the answer!
@@stephenderry9488 great show!
As a german themepark nerd I was like "wait IMASCORE?"😂😂
Interestingly, Danes Macabre by Saint-Saëns is featured in the movie "Tombstone".
I just realized a year after, I misspelled ‘Danse’ to ‘Danes’ 😂 my apologies for that. I’ve changed my mistake.
I've been looking for number five for so freaking long! Thank you!!!
1:15 FUCK!
This was fun. I remembered almost all of the composer names, but remembered less than half names of the pieces themselves. It's been way too long since I've played this stuff. I believe my trailer's in need of a nice MIDI piano... Too small for a real piano, and electric pianos have been close enough for the last couple of decades.
I was the opposite. I remember the names of most of the songs but not the composers. Thank you musical theater and piano teachers.
I thought this would be modern music but seeing classical songs was a breath of fresh air
Same
The first one made me remember that one moment years back...
I was young when that happened, I was sitting by a laptop at the corridor, crying while waiting for my sisters to come back, my mom was sleeping, I had no idea what to do... I just kept listening to that song...
Absolute nostalgia. Absolute.
(Remembering this made me cry...)
I know that feeling, when you hear some sound or tune and you just have this sudden memory?
One of the songs here did that to me, too.
And that's a sort of sad memory. I feel like saying "sorry about that."
( I don't know why, or what for... )
🙂💚
this song plays when walking down a staircase near the Great Hall in hogwarts legacy, I recognised it from a show my dad watched with me and my brother when we were younger called Zzzap. it played in a sketch in it all the time
0:47 YESIVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS ONEEE FINALLY THANK YOUUU
I recognized Flight of the Bumblebee, Toccata and Fugue, Entertainer, Russian Dance, William Tell Overture, Blue Danube Waltz, Morning Mood, and Also sprach Zarathustra. The only one I already knew the name of was Flight of the Bumblebee
You read the video title wrong.

Me too it’s so nostalgic, I remember in my old day care when it was nap time they would play this to help us fall asleep.

Legends are those people who know the name but haven’t heard the song...lol
So I did know:
"Flight of the Bumblebee", "The Entertainer" (It is played in the Muppets Show with Milton Berle), "Russian Dance", "William Tell" (of course as "Wilhelm Tell", I think it was a MIDI-file in the old Windows 3.1), "Blue Danube Waltz" (of course as "An der blauen Donau") and "Also sprach Zarathustra" (well, you know, 2001).
I knew the name of all but #17. Both of my parents were musicians and I heard lots of classical music and took piano lessons for several years.
0:45 De- I beg your pardon?

6:21 Hmm did u get nostalgia from this
The scary fact is that i heard all of these but only knew the names for half of them

correction: 7. 2:05 Vamp Anthem - Playboi Carti
Was just commenting that tune 17 was a ringtone at some point and you seem to comment the same brand phone LOL.
Blue Danube Waltz is actually the tune played by ice cream trucks in Hong Kong!
I’ve known it my whole life, and it’s filled with plenty wonderful childhood memories.
Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 is my favorite song of all time, and the main reason I got inspired to finally try to learn how to play piano is so that someday, when I'm old, I'll be able to play it in its entirety. Too bad it's apparently considered one of the hardest classical songs to play on solo piano.
if you think that's true, then don't look into liszt's play library. that man wasn't human.
@@Taterzz exactly, this would be on the lower end of the medium scale in terms of difficulty for his music lol
I hear similar notes to some of these in the Radom video games I have, however one specific one was apparently “the entertainer” that was just flat out used in the weirdest baby game I have still. 12 and 13 I’m thankfully old enough to also at least know the melodies of, number 15 too!!!
I am really glad you added the entertainer! one of my favorites!
The fact I had the last one stuck in my head while lying on the couch yesterday straining my head to remember where I had heard of then getting this video today is solid proof either my algorithm is well-trained or my brain got hacked into.
I don't think Wagner Made Also Sprach Zarathustra, it was Richard Strauss
Indeed
Yea
1:37 now I know where C418 got his inspiration from
Lol
Thanks for the info. Although I am professional musician, it is useful to remind yourself sometimes and check your autidory skills with knowlegde.
1:01 mmm yes deBUSSY 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
I've heard a few of these in my childhood while watching tv. I specifically remember Rossini - William Tell Overture from the Little Einstiens show!
If you watched littles Einstein's you would recognise all of them!
3:37 this song is actually named "La follia"
The Blue Danube Waltz was a really good one. LoL. I recognized 7 out of 20. Flight of the Bumblebee, The entertainer, The Sarabande, Claire de Lune, Listz Hungarian Rhapsody, and I should have heard Chopin e flat, William Tell Overture, and Listz Liebestraum. I just happen to be a piano player. But thank you. The Blue Danube Waltz was not what I was expecting. I actually didn't know it wasn't In the Morning and not Morning Mood, and I certainly didn't know it was by Edvard Grieg. Now I have to know that song. Thank you for sharing these.
Number 10: Before I had heard of William Tell or The Lone Ranger, I first heard this as the "Happy Anniversary" song from the Flintstones. I still have that set in my mind.
Knowing the names of a bunch of these gave me an ridiculous amount of excitement. I’ve played some of them on the piano and we’re doing Toccata in the school orchestra at the moment. I can’t do the semiquavers, they are impossible.
We all know there’s going to be that one dude who be like: I’ve learned every one of these pieces CHECKMATE
If anyone is going to or has been to Efteling then you should go/go back because the new danse macabre ride is open and it is so cool. Also it uses the danse macabre song at number 11 in this video
Gran Vals is the Nokia tune😂

why do I think that this is Minecraft
Certain pieces from the Minecraft soundtrack (I believe Sweden is the most prominent one) were inspired by pieces like Gymnopédie

@@penguinguy1814 no, it’s a different song that sounds REALLY similar

When you think you know the piece but get the name wrong: …..
I recognized most of these masterpieces 🫡 They are such bops.
I knew Flight of the Bumblebee, The Entertainer, and William Tell Overture. Partial credit for recognizing Russian Dance as the nutcracker but not knowing the name 😅
Probably because half of them don't even HAVE names just numbers or descriptions
you can still hame them tho
