- This is our cover of Alone by Heart. Arguably the greatest Power Ballad ever, and one of my favorite songs in Ann Marie's repertoire. Huge thanks to our special guest Matt Beck for absolutely crushing this on keyboard!

Geek Speak:
We use the Roland TD-11 drums as a controller for Native Instruments Abbey Drummer.
The bass is recorded direct and processed with CLA bass and other Waves plugins.
The keyboard was recorded with a Yamaha CP controlling IK Multimedia SampleTank.
The guitar is also direct and processed with Line 6 Helix Native
All the vocals are recorded with Audio Technica mics.
We use Audio Technica headphones for monitoring.
Our main interface is a MOTU 1248 and our DAW is pro tools.
Video was captured using Zoom Q2ns and edited in Adobe Premiere.

Why Ann Marie is not one of the most famous singers in the entire world right now I do not know. If you can sing Ann Wilson, you can sing absolutely anything.
Settle down son. She's good but not world famous good. There is a difference especially in today's era. You're judging this like a hippie from 40 years ago. Grow up.
@@TheMalf1978 This is a weird take. Let’s break it down logically. Taste in music and in vocal tone is highly subjective. There is not a clear way to define levels of “good” so there’s no way to define it like a win/lose competitive sport like you would evaluate say an NFL prospect. My comment was stating I believe with the right level of exposure and promotion that Ann Marie would attract a wide audience of fans who would pay to see her live and buy her music, because of her excellently developed skillset. Secondly, you then referred to me as sounding like an old hippie. At 45, I’ve been around long enough to remember an era where you couldn’t correct pitch and fix performances easily, and there was a high level of art happening with vocal technique, exemplified by singers like Ann Wilson. Since you have 1978 in your name, I assume that you and I may be generational contemporaries. Finally you challenged me to grow up, which I won’t lie in saying my wife would agree with you on, however, I think actually points to some inner sadness and jealousy that I still have the ability to purely enjoy something while you feel the need to randomly comment on someone else’s sincere enjoyment of a performance and performer I’ve been watching for years and enjoying with simplistic personal insults of someone you don’t know just because they are enjoying a performance by a performer they enjoy? That’s like walking up to a laughing child at Disneyland, slapping their sippy cup out of their hand and telling them Santa isn’t real. I think you might be the one needing some growing up, and quite possibly some therapy. I wish you well.

Lead singer has a great voice, great band, but the bass player has amazing pipes, holy cow that was impressive. When I started watching I was like, " ok who is going to hit Nancys part", and there you have it it was the guy on bass. WELL DONE . I have to go on a binge watch now. Glad I found this channel.

There are quite a few singers that can reach up there to Ann. But, it's the tone of Ann Wilson's voice that makes all the difference. It's simply the most beautiful full range power vocals I've ever heard. Period

I've played professionally my whole life and you all are one of the greatest ensembles I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. The scope of the music you are able to cover is truly incredible. In addition, the fact that you all are multi instrumentalists at a very high level is equally amazing. The vocals are also flawless, and, in many cases I believe, better than the originals!! Well done!

First heard Ann Marie sing years ago at a Castellano's Music School student showcase. She provided vocals for a group of kids doing Ace's High by Iron Maiden. The kids did a great job musically but her soaring vocals were simply spot on. Awesome job then, awesome now. Bravo! 👏
