Unlike other A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A ______ where they eat most of the time, this guy is actually showing what sort of work he does. Thanks for this video❤
This is a very detailed and insightful video with respect to what a day in the life of a product manager looks like. The roles, responsibilities and productivity shown gives us clear cut explanation of the daily duties of a product manager. Many Thanks for this video.
Most product managers in our company lack the environmental insight or research capabilities. As long as they keep rolling out products or features no one asked for each quarter, they get raises. When that don’t fly, jump ship to another company with a 20% raise. And.. the cycle continues.
This is literally day in the life of a scrum master, none of this is the role of a product manager. As a product manager you should not be dealing with the day to day tasks of engineers or updating any user stories. If your even touching jira that should already tell you that’s not a true product management role.
So, here we are, again. He is a principal PM. Do you really think that you know more than him about PM? 😀😀😀 I was a PM before, and you for sure work on stories and in Jira. The Scrum Master just facilitates the Scrum Process, e.g. meetings.
Well I’m an engineer lead our PMs don’t do any of this I for sure would make sure my scrum master was doing this. So yes I think I do know more than him and you. Unless your at a start up where your basically doing the job of 2 roles. A true PM role is not doing any of this lol
Can't agree with you on this matter. Every company the PM roles is different. Most of the companies it's a mixure of Project Manager+Product Manager Role. So, I see no harm if he doing scrum, or update user stories.

hahah so true!
Good video and well explained. Sprint demo is something that shows your team's work at the end of the sprint cycle to tech and business folks.
Awesome feedback, thanks for watching!

Disappointing to see him sitting down for the stand up
I was literally about to type the same! 😆 Casualty of covid and Zoom meetings? 🤔
I’ve unsubbed. Terrible example!
Lol, this was more a video about Scrum and less about product management
Was just going to say this is straight up project management/scrum master
usually this is done by APM, Since this is Standford channel, maybe the targeted audience is college student
I was gonna say this is totally project management not product management.

PSA - If there’s daylight and you’re thinking about “what we should be working on today” you need to be very worried about your job.
