This is another fabulous video and message by the Messages of Christ UA-cam channel. I lived and studied in Jerusalem and have had the blessing of going to the shepherds' fields outside of Bethlehem. I frequently think about the shepherds who attended Christ's birth and what they witnessed. I found the point made about shepherds witnessing the firstborn lambs who would likely be sacrificed in the Jerusalem temple, and then witnessing Christ's birth to be particularly insightful.

I was taught early on in the church that these shepherds were of the Leviticus p.h. and we’re taking care of the Temple flocks for sacrifice.
