You cannot alter a hard drive without changing the signature (hash) of that hard drive. It is easy to corroborate an original against an 'altered' hard drive, takes all of a few seconds. If the FBI had the hard drive in 2019, any copy of the hard drive can easily be corroborated against the original hash to verify it's authenticity. This isn't anything new, it is the standard procedure when dealing with the chain of evidence in digital storage, similar to an evidence bag in other criminal proceedings. The same hashing method is often used even for authenticating file downloads online. The insinuation from a democrat that the hard drive may be tampered with is completely lacking in integrity and holds no basis in reality.

You cannot alter a hard drive without changing the signature (hash) of that hard drive. It is easy to corroborate an original against an 'altered' hard drive, takes all of a few seconds. If the FBI had the hard drive in 2019, any copy of the hard drive can easily be corroborated against the original hash to verify it's authenticity. This isn't anything new, it is the standard procedure when dealing with the chain of evidence in digital storage, similar to an evidence bag in other criminal proceedings.
The same hashing method is often used even for authenticating file downloads online. The insinuation from a democrat that the hard drive may be tampered with is completely lacking in integrity and holds no basis in reality.

The whole laptop story is questionable. Why give it to the FBI? Why not the regular police? As far as the store owner was concerned, it was just abandoned property. You are absolutely correct and it cannot be over stated what you've said. I would add one caveat as a UK citizen watching closely, this is dangerous in world history. Many governments are in cahoots with these platforms, along with the WEF, google, UA-cam etc. They want to tell you what your reality is.
