I recall back in Ireland when I as just 12 years of age, hearing Slim song 'the pub without beer' on the radio before T V had arrived. I am now 85 and love it just just as much.
I went to Australia in 1987 and got to enjoy his music a lot. A few years later I moved to Costa Rica where I still listen to Slim Dustry, instead of latin sound.
Sadly, these traveling shows are now an era long gone. Thankfully, his music will be with us forever. Back in 1993, I created the artwork for his (I think) 87th album... Anniversary Album No 2... it was quite an honor.
Amazingly Brilliant! Golden Classic songs from the Legend himself. Thank you for sharing this video. Slim Dusty came & performed in Madang over some 50 years ago in the 1970's & he was brilliant. Legendary Slim may be gone but his music lives in our hearts. Greetings from Madang, Papua New Guinea!
My inspiration when I was a young boy loved Slim a hard working artist that performed at every bush town the length and breadth of Australia! RIP legend and pioneer.
I met Duncan. ❤ and he was me mate. He made little pastry shells and filled them with kiwi fruit and strawberries. 😊 Showed me around when l was walking Kira ground. Insightful.
A lot of requests for Slim songs, on Abc early morning country here in Nth Qld so he will never be forgotten, and slims fans can start the day singing 🎶 very good for the brain as we use both sides of our brain when we sing, great to hear all that concert ,THANKS *******'
I came across Slim's music on one of my many trips to Australia, I love listening to him and I visited his museum in Kempsey, it's well worth going to if you're ever up that way
Slim was and still is Australia's King of Country. There is a book available written some time back entitled Walk A Country Mile, also a movie, If my memory serves me, also of the same title. Cheers from Tasmania. @@lylelambie8895
I'm a French musician (lead guitar) since 1959. Since 1976, I collect Slim Dusty's LPs (for me, it's the Australian Lonnie Donegan. I thank you for this nice video. Best wishes from France. JO

Thanks - memories, they were great shows.

Great concert -- Keith Urban -- what a surprise. But then Slim was always there to help new artists, as Keith was then.
My entire family mob would go to the theatre every year when the Dusty mob came to my town.
VERY 🎶 WELL DONE 👏 ✔️
More 🎉 love this truth.
