I just ran across Slim Dusty about a year ago. That's real country music. I grew up on the plains of southeast North Dakota between the James and Sheyenne rivers. That's a fur piece from Australia. My uncle Billy flew out of Mareeba during the war. I never got to meet him. His B-17 is laying in a place called Black Cat Pass in New Guinea.

A great Man and awesome family , Miss them alot Joy & Slim now playing in concert at the big country hall in the sky . Miss you so much SD ,Joy, Bazza Thornton , Met Paul and Coleen Trembath Hamilton county Blue Grass . All great people .

I have been on the Indian pacific and the Ghan and loved it I also had my mum with me and she loved it as well.
For a heart surgeon, David makes a damn good singer!
He actually saved Slim’s life back in the early ‘90’s . He realised that Slim was sick and rushed him off to hospital.
