Stop children, what’s that sound?
… It’s music dwelling through the depths of the Cavern Club again!
Let's ring out the weekend with another upload from our Cavern Club series.
This one has been part of our repertoire for as long as we can remember. It’s a song you can play as big, fast, loud, quiet or intimate as you want and it doesn’t really lose on impact.
The lyrics are strong and, unfortunately, continue to be relevant to this day.
Hope you like it!
Hugs,
Mona & Lisa
What’s great about their covers is that they somehow manage to achieve a kind of faithfulness and accuracy whilst still retaining their own fresh stamp on things.
A DVD of this Cavern club performance would be awesome
Whether doing covers or originals, the Mona Lisa Twins area amazing!
Your guitar work is genius! Your stage performance is second to none, absolutely brilliant,. Incredible energy and vibe, rock and roll at it's absolute finest! Love the Live at the Cavern Club album!
GREAT JOB! SO MUCH ENERGY!! It even woke up my dog who's now running around playing!!!!
It was relevant in the 60s, it is relevant today.
Great song performed by great artists
This is how music should be performed: Fun, engaged and skillful.
Much love for it!
One of the first hit songs I learned on guitar back in 66. had an old tape recorder - taped it off the radio and fell in love with the song. You girls did one hell-of-a-job on this one. Awesome!!!!
These Cavern Club videos are outstanding! They are having such fun performing and put so much energy into it that you can't help but groove along. I hope I'm able to see them live someday! 🙂
Love those opening 'plings'! Surely easy to see how much you enjoyed sharing this classic gem with your audience! All four of you rockin' out at the Cavern! Exuberance epitomized!
Absolutely perfection. Brilliant vocals and some very tasty guitar work by anyone's standards . First class
This is my favorite song of all time. Yall did it good.
You never disappoint. How cool it would have been to be there in person.
Thanks for bringing back such a timely song!
I love their energy and enthusiasm - and their obvious talent.
Hi ya Twins - this was my favourite Buff Spring song back in the day. Love your rendition - rock out ladies!!!!! Thanks for the memories!
It really IS a kick-out-the-jams song.
The joy in the MonaLisa Twins as they play this almost matches the joy I get listening. Great vocals and instrumentation, as usual, and I loved the arrangement
Another great song that I remember well, and that you nail as if it was your own. Just hearing the harmonics at the beginning, it's singular, it jumps out at me, I recognize it. Just in my head for 50+ years. Classic '60s protest song.
You really have so much wonderful energy on this, as you should, so powerful, just building and building. I'm thinking about how yes, it's '60s, but protest is from a different place than a lot of your covers. I really love how you grabbed it and ran with it. Protest needs to be loud and you are loud. Rock and roll loud. You could have cranked that solo at the end a lot longer if you wanted to. This is awesome stuff. Still have it on loop. So very special, thanks!
I always love the Cavern Club lives. Live listening to them going down the road. A lot of people have memories of this song. For me it's very strange. When I hear it, I immediately think of a man that introduced my mother to our stepfather. Both were Navy. Volunteered for Vietnam. My parents never found him afterwards. Then me. When I was waiting in a hanger at the Port of Jebel waiting on getting our tanks off the ships during Desert Shield part...I was looking at all the cots with all of our gear playing my radio. AFN in the beginning was playing 1960s and 70s music. This came on and I was wondering if I was in a movie. So surreal! Love hearing my MLT jam out! Peace. Stay safe. God Speed. Stay Groovy! 🍻🌹❤️🤘
Wow! So much Twin energy flowing on this one. I listen to this often in the club; love to watch and hear Lisa play that guitar!
It's The Twins... Mona and Lisa ... Whatever They Put Out here to Us is Always Amazing...❤️💚💜🐈⬛❤️💚💜
Such a fun Song! The instrumentation is incredible and you are so amazing. The Audience gets into it as much as you do.
Thanks Ladies for another Great Wake Up Song.💛❤️
Another GREAT job on covering a song…and you are sadly so right that YES this song is still relevant 60 years later….I love what you girls do❤️🧡
There are NO words I could say that would tell you how INCREDIBLE this song is and, of course, how beautiful and talented you both are! And I can't leave out your musicians who made this rock-concert quality...OR BETTER!
Fantastic! I heard CSN play this live in 1977. This is an amazing cover, so much power and technique. Thank you !
Been a long long time since I had *that* chill!
this is an amazing rockin' cover - bravo!
Fabulous For Wat It's Worth cover!

Tight band! Nice groove! ❤❤❤🎉
Love that song and this version is sooooo good. Your music makes me smile. Thanks
I went back and listened to the original. This is better.IMO. More energy. Guitar work is great, twins are really talented.
the cavern club... Me mum went to nurses training at Alder Hey Children's in Liverpool. They used to go to the cavern all the time, you could get cappuccino or coffee for 10 pence (in a cheap plastic cup), and you did not have to get refills. Apparently she saw the beatles many times. She (and all of her fellow nursing students felt they looked like "they had been dragged through a bush backwards" and needed a haircut" Well this story amused and amazed me, I hope others enjoy it.
Great version of Stephen Stills' great song! Congratulations!
Where have you been all my life?!
LOVE THIS COVER!!!
YOU ROCK!!!!
xx
This song gets more relevant each year passing
Великолепно! Спасибо красотки!
Been a long time since I've heard that song you ladies sure know how to bring it.
Mona Lisa knows how to rock!!
Super reprise de cet hymne porte drapeau de toute une jeunesse antimilitariste des sixties ... j'adore, bravo
anthem of the late 60's....good job. really.
Wow! What a cool performance of a great song.
Well done MLT's and I am certain that Steven would approve! 👍👍💖💖
brilliant
The harmony! It's beyond perfect!!
Outstanding cover, Mona and Lisa!
Awesome, so much energy in this performance.. CD ordered
I like how you turn up the heat on this one. I love the original version but you make it rock. Nice guitar work ladies. Love it!!
What a time to be alive … in the 60s. Love that solo!
Great legendary song, guys! Bravo!
WELL DONE LADIES! Mr. Stills would approve of your cover of his song. (23 July 2023)
2.46 on sounds like Hendrix. yeah!
WOW! Entertainment.
It shows what a classic my generation's music has. When this generation can find truth in what was truth in the 60's relevant today, is the true meaning of the song.
Absolutely top notch💐💐👏👏👏😀
Great rendition Mona and Lisa.
You beautiful young ladies simply make incredible music 💕💕💕
Jane Asher is playing like Hendrix!? )) Definitely, Lisa has the same hairstyle as had by Paul McCartney's the most famous girlfriend in
1960s. Any way, GREAT SOLO from Lisa! GREAT COVER of Buffalo Sprinfield!
First palm- muting chords remind me the beginning of David Gilmour's playing from "No Other Baby" when he performed that number with Sir Paul in 1999 at the Cavern Club.
Congratulations on the album release. Your ladies music is like a beautiful time warp. Thanks from Graz. Peace and 🎵 joy 🎵 8888
You really should release a DVD of your live performances.
Danke euch beiden 😊
Genius.
Wonderful!
Girls you rock. For me your cover is better than the original ! Thank you for sharing such a performance. 👏👏👏👍🏼😍🇫🇷
Your little band tore it up on this ever-relevant song! I feel the spirit even through the computer!!!
Wow, what a rocker!!! Lisa showing her chops!
Thankyou. Brilliant.
Excellent cover. Not surprised.
Thanks!!!
That was one of their best. Of many. From Tampa, Florida. Great job.
Loved how you took a basic ballad & rocked the daylights out of it!
Very good cover of Springfield's (rock's first super group) most famous song. Yeah the politics of the '60's and it actually goes back to the landing of the English in this country, and has not gone away. Women are second class and if you are Native or colored, does not matter what color if it is not "white" male, well maybe you can make second class. I truly wish you young ones the best.
Well done ladies!
Reds is kicking major ass
Great cover loved the arrangement.
FANTASTIC💯💯💯
"Paranoia strikes deep...in to your life it will...creep".
I really dig these two women! 🙂

Girl, those lead guitar chops are great!
Love it. Once again, you time warped me. And, I even played along.
Very cool!
Видит бог, мощно!!!
I love the funk injection into this song!
Peace Out !!!!!!!!!!
WOW 🙏🙏🙏
Just about fell out of my chair.
Captivating sight, these two!
