    I just ordered a 500 watt FRONT wheel conversion kit. I have replaced original freewheel/crankset with a super low 34 tooth f.w and 22 tooth "granny gear" tripple crankset, the combination of the 34 tooth f.w and 22 tooth crankset gives a super low gear. I got a front wheel motor so that if something happens to the motor or wheel, I will simply put a new front wheel on, and will not have to deal with replacing my 34 tooth freewheel (ordering it/waiting for it to arrive in mail, installing on new rear wheel). Also, if motor goes bad I won't have to carry rear wheel dead weight of bad motor.

    Excellent video, thank you. Mine was slightly different, but the principles are the same. My supplier sent my kit without instructions.
    Towards the end, when you crouch down, I couldn't make out exactly what you were saying.

    Love the video and the kit. I'm considering fitting the kit to my bike. But where do you put your water bottle and cage?

    That thumb throttle is at least a fingers stretch away from the grip. I'm currently awaiting arrival of my ebay orders to convert my bike and I'm still considering binning my gripshifters as I'm convinced the thumb throttle will be too far to reach.

    is there a kit where we do not have the battery and other gismos as exposed as in common kits?? I mean just look at that battery and the other hardware, they are all super exposed, leaving no chance for a stealthy build, thus increasing the odds for the bike to be taken away by force

      There are whole bikes you can buy that hide the stuff. Univega has one with hidden battery that is about the price of this kit + a new bike.

    Does anyone know if we can swap out the cassette? I have a 9 speed, and almost all that i see are 7.

    • @bcosta2475
      @bcosta2475 4 роки тому

      @Stevie Blue 👍Yeah, i pretty much have come to that conclusion. So i could limit the derailer, but will the chain fit both the new hub and middle? Same goes for mid-drive set up. My research has me leaning towards front wheel conversion

      Yeah they're not there anymore, try calling that number, and you will also not get a reply to your email. Like I said before, they we're really good in the day these guys. I think they got caught up in the Chinese retrospective dumping duties fiasco.

      Was trying too contact them too,no luck,what the Chinese thing about?

    • @likeher9
      @likeher9 6 років тому

      @@singh-sks Yeah it was, and still is a tax import duty that th EU can potentially levy at Chinese imports many months after these venders have paid the original price. They're essentially saying, to many Chinese ebike components are stifling EU growth in this area. So with that threat in mind, I suspect a lot of these businesses didn't want to take the risk
