Gee, the more I hear of this band the more I love them. Love these simple acoustic sets they do - that voice of Matthews is so pure and refreshing, great harmony and percussion by Ira as well.
son acojonantes, y no pude bajar a madrid ni al concert ni a radio3 que habria sido lo suyo. con esta canción en acustico me cago, temazo perfecto para terminar cualquier pelicula
I love this lead singer's voice - it is so refreshing and pure. I first heard your group on a youtube.com video of "Bizarre Love Triangle". I like your version of that song but really like your original music too! You're group and singing is so Southern CA - I like this sound!
For the one that said that the drummer was Spanish, he is wrong, actually the bass player is Spanish and it's called Daniel Lorca. About the instrument the drummer is playing it's a cajon and it makes no difference whether it's flamenco, pruvian or whatever, they make almost the same sound.
It seems obvious to me that if you can strip away all of the accountrements of the studio; all the post-production, effects, extra instruments, etc. etc. and do a bare-bones, acoustic version of the song, and it sounds good and not like something's majorly missing, then you have a very good song, and possibly a great song. In this case, I think this is a truly great song. Kudos.
Great great great. Im a bit behind on NS albums, ok very behind (proximity was my last), gotta sort it out. Maybe my favorite drummer ever though. 2nd to Mr Grohl probably
It's called "Cajon Peruano" it's a percusive instrument invented in Peru by black slaves. Is not a flamenco instrument exclusively but nowdays everyone use it. Peruvian pride :P btw. I love this song!
de toute façon ça voudra rien dire "je suis étudié français pour 4 ans", tu es étudiant français pour 4 ans? and yeah it's "The best song that i've heard" me too;
one of the most underrated bands in history...!
Gee, the more I hear of this band the more I love them. Love these simple acoustic sets they do - that voice of Matthews is so pure and refreshing, great harmony and percussion by Ira as well.

it looks like a Cajon, but no the spanish one, the Peruvian one, for the sound its a peruvian one.
de toute façon ça voudra rien dire "je suis étudié français pour 4 ans", tu es étudiant français pour 4 ans?
and yeah it's "The best song that i've heard" me too;
the guy playing the plank of wood looks like the lead singer of 3rd eye blind
@vavapotter or take voice lessons to see if you have the range to hit the note...
