Guys, I'm fully aware Hawas released 2015 and Invictus Aqua officially in 2016. You could score bottles of Invictus Aqua in late 2015 if you had a plug. So while the argument could be made Hawas isn't a clone of Invictus Aqua, I think most people would agree it's a clone of Invictus at the least which released in 2013. Hawas has a bit more of a similarity to Invictus Aqua than Invictus though, which is why most people will just say it's an "Invictus Aqua" clone and leave it at that. Otherwise you have to spend a lot of time explaining the release dates and how it was likely an Invictus clone that ended up being closer to Invictus Aqua that was releasing close to the same time as Hawas and that it was a clone of one thing that ended up being a closer clone to another thing. See how it's easier to just say "Invictus Aqua" and be done with it? 😉
It smells great layered with ADG Absolu, it smooths it out and pushes the fruitiness, so you get great performance from the Hawas and better blending through the ADG. I can't wear one without the other now.
I just saw a TikTok where a kid who must have been 15 said he discovered Hawas last December and started the whole Hawas hype train … as though no one in the community had ever heard of Hawas .. I commented that Jeremy was hyping Rasasi before his nuts dropped 😅

I feel like as a fragrance gets more popular, content creators dislike it more and that’s why something like flame gets better attention later not because it’s better but because it’s not as popular as the og but similar enough while being different enough. If they were to smell both they’d probably choose the OG in a hypothetical vacuum

I think what I have learned is that the Fragrance World is full of opinions, just like any other space out there. BUT with this especially, just rock what you like and what works for you. Take advice but also don't overvalue it over what you truly think

The replacement doesn’t always need to be a clone. Sometimes it hat you’re replacing shouldn’t even be cloned. I hate most fragrances so most of the time I’m replacing with same notes but completely different styles.
I actually agree that Y le Parfum is the better of the two. But that is just personal preference and what I used it for. It actually was pretty loved as a date fragrance before the Niche industry stole all of my money.

Let's be honest, the hype behind YSL Y EDP is because of Ash, he made the video about his most complimented fragrance and he said Y EDP was a surprising fragrance that got the most attention, when eveyone else was dismissing the Y line and calling it generic and boring. Then after ash who also liked Y and said the EDP was his most complimented and long lasting scent, eveyone began prasing it.

I still get compliments wearing Dior Sauvage. It’s not my go to but I keep in my collection. I have a range of colognes that are very expensive and some that are cheap. At the end of the day you got to go with what you like because at the end of the day it’s your choice. Idc how old a scent is, if it works it works 🤷🏾♂️.

Dude!!!! I just got your 3 fragrances! I haven't smelled Terre de Hermes Eau Givree but I think you got cheated! I'm saving some money to buy all 3 (bigger bottles). Blue Ridge and Jet Black are tied and slightly below is Terra Nova (at least according to my taste). All amazing! Can't wait for the next 2! Awesome!

Nope, Aqua came out in 2015, then Hawas and Legend Spirit were released. Aqua 2018 is a different reformulated version.

CDNIM is literally the ONLY fragrance that has ever actually given me a headache. Also it smells pretty horrid IMO. On the bright side, it is extremely popular and I sold it for $20 on marketplace within 8 hours lol.
Also it should never ever be recommended over sauvage. I recently smelled sauvage at a macy's after a while and it just never gets old tbh. Super versatile but it also performs like a beast and honestly 99.9% of people will NOT care that you're wearing something that's "overworn" or "too popular".
