That was always my thing with stereo music: what does it matter what ear it goes into? I never understood why headphones had that little "blind people dot" to let you know which one was the left one. I think the 432Hz argument is more valid than the "which ear the guitar solo is delivered to." There's the left and right brain theories, but ears are ears. You're right in this case though, because at least you have a visual point of reference to claim it's off in some way.
And i agree with you, mostly i am not bothered by if you hear a solo in the left or right ear, even though i always have opinions like, "This solo could sound better in the left ear". But yes, in the case of this video, its super annoying because it just doesnt line up, and it annoys the shit out of me, then again i think putting all the drums on one ear like in You Can't Quit Me Baby, is pretty cool. I kinda lost my point, but i agree with you

Josh Homme is everything that's right about rock and roll. You should never take yourself or anyone else too seriously. The guy could be a fucking stand up comedian. And Them Crooked Vultures put out the best rock record in ten years hands down.
The best thing about mr gas is even though he's probably the best guitarist in the room he decides to just rock out with the double recorders... dude is a bloody hero :)
Depends on the genre of music. Gass is classically trained which means he's the most technical. More suited for metal, yes also past his prime which is why he needs a backup in live performances. Homme is a blues/Latin guitar which gives him incredible range and a more unique style that's all his own. Love both but I can't choose they're too different.
