They just need to stop testing for THC all together, if i can get hammered every night and go to work each day and no one cares, I should be able to take a puff of weed instead and perform my job much better

Saliva is fair to cdl holders i beleve if you cant stop smoking for 24 hrs before going back to work you’re addicted and you have a problem, but if you can be responsible with cannabis in a state that is it is legal I see no problem with this at all

Your forgetting about the 800 lbs Gorilla in the room and it’s the insurance companies that insure trucking companies, they tell the company what the rules are not the other way around

Doctors, judges, and lawyers do worse. There’s nothing wrong with being a weed head. I’d rather be a weed head than a crackhead any day.😮😊

Except the government put this into effect on paper but not yet into practice. The government is not looking out for you. You already have rights under the 4th Amendment but the government has a clause that says the 4th Amendment only applies to certain people and if you're subject to government mandated drug testing you're not one of those people.

Where does the fourth amendment say you have the right to be a junkie?

Seems like the question is...Does the DOT, carriers and insurance companies care that you're sober within the last 24 hours or concerned that you've used substances in the past.

You touched on this but please clarify. I understand the process of metabolites ending up in urine, but I haven’t grasp the oral fluid concept.
What’s the nuts and bolts in layman terms, does thc leach into your saliva via the bloodstream? Does your body fat play a role?
I seen videos that claim passing is as simple as brushing and rinsing, doubt that’s factual

i smoked 13 days ago and still tested positive on my saliva test.

Is there information out there that the federal government is moving towards this? I believe you mentioned that in the beginning of the video. Can you share a source?

I have a full video on Federal saliva testing. I linked the video in the card in the upper right of the video when I mentioned it.

I have to do a drug test, I haven't smoked for ten days. I smoke only in some weeks of the year (for 7 days and then I stop), not all year. on the day of the test, 2 weeks will have passed since the last joint. Yesterday I had a home drug test (I was dehydrated and the urine was quite dark) and it came back positive. I am a slim person, who works out 5-6 times a week. I've been losing weight for the past few days and have been on intermittent fasting. I have also started taking active charcoal before every meal. It is likely that the test was positive because I hadn't drunk enough and had just run 5k. In the last 24h I will hydrate well, especially before the test, I will stop training and eat lots of carbohydrates, I will continue to take active charcoal, aspirin 3-4h before, vitamin B12, zinc 12-18h before. In your opinion, will the test result be negative?

I haven’t smoked marijuana in over 50 days. But occasionally cough up tar from it. Can that produce a positive saliva test?

I took a job in logistics knowing i would get swabbed and abstained for 3 days from THC. The swab is supposed to be removed after 5 minutes. But the HR rep made me keep it in for 30 minutes while i completed all of my onboarding paperwork. If this happens there is nothing you can do, and your chances of failing the test are exponentially higher. Of course I failed, and it would be the only saliva test I've ever failed. If the job is important to you, leave yourself a larger buffer of abstinence.

So, if I smoke every day, all day long... all I have to do is stop for 3 days and I'm guaranteed to pass a swab test? Sounds too good to be true. My activity level, or the fact that I am doing a fasting diet, doesn't matter?

You think it's crazy? What I think is crazy is that you don't see a problem with the fact that people are not being deposed of getting a job and their job they already have because they are not being safe at their job or are doing something that hinders their competency at the job. But simply for the fact that they have a certain substance in their system. If you notice none of this has anything to do with what I just said. Because if you look into it, many would tell you that people on things like Coke are probably just going to do a lot more work a lot faster and people like me that smoke 24/7. You would rather them smoke when they work than not.

Are these ones different from the ones they had a few years ago bc I knew people that would smoke right before the tests and still pass without gum or anything. (although I always thot gum seemed like it would make it worse not better but idk bc I dont need to)

Why dont they test for alcohol? It impairs me more than thc ever could dream of doing. Drinkers have been proven to be more dangerous/volatile than weedies. This is insurance BS. 😂

I work for a small municipality. We are NOT DOT regulated. Yet we are still randomly drug tested. Yes we have cdls, and some claim it’s for “insurance purposes”. But living in NY isn’t that not allowed anymore? Any insight to this would be helpful. Love your videos

Thanks! If you maintain a CDL you will be under the FMCSA guidelines. Federal guidelines trump state laws.
