The show was campy and silly. Yet if folks read any of the comics of that time, they would see the show matched up to those readings than the future movies did to their era of comics.

I had the opportunity to see him in person many years ago at a comic book convention in Mexico City and I was shocked to see him in person, with an ambivalent feeling, of immense happiness for my inner child and also seeing a true superstar.
Adam West and company helped shape many kids. If you enjoyed him here, what about the episode where Robin was kidnapped by the Riddler. The beautiful girl said it best: " You shake a pretty mean cape, Batman!" as they were dancing together.
