Hi! Thank you so much! I used about 2 to 2.5 packs on this client. I find that I normally use less hair with lower density clients and more with higher density clients.
When do you stop using the extensions or is this continuous until the clients desired length with natural hair?

I don't add stress to the edges. I asses what the edges can handle and install accordingly.

I just got my hair done, I absolutely love it but I wasn't sure if it was done right. As far as the locking process. She didn't do the locking method. With that not being done will my hair still lock or do I need to go back and have her do it.
Im so happy you love it! You mean the interlocking part? Yes it will still loc. If she braided it close enough to the scalp the interlocking part isn't necessary.

Question for you, when you rinsed it in hot water, how long did it take to dry? Did you air dry or blow dry it? Was it hard to separate after you wet it? 🥰 I allow the hair to air dry while using it when its wet. I find it easier to separate when its wet. lol The love is real ☺️😘

Once again you do amazing work, question do you braid The extension hair close to the scalp like you normally would do for micro braiding or do you braid in the extension hair a little further down from the scalp?, I hope I’m saying this right. Sorry.

Thank you for your comment! I will definitely film a detailed video prepping the hair. At this point I like QVR but the slippage is more dependent upon the clients hair texture.

Is there a version of this that can be done, but not kept permanently? Id love to have this for a while, but I also know that I can't commit to one hairstyle forever 😁
The only thing that makes it permanent is not taking it out. So if you got it done you would just take it out when you were ready. There is nothing in particular I do that stops it from being taken out.

I have sisterlocs and I want to start over also because I want them to be fuller I’ve had them for 5 years so they are locked. I don’t have fine hair but if I start over how can I get a fuller look. The locs in the back of my head at thicker than the rest, I’m thinking about combing them out and making them smaller. Or getting extensions
If you start with two strand twist they will be fuller.
I'm about to do it my self.Any tips on party size? I have fine low density hair. Don't want the out come to be do big any heavy and not to thin. Ig in the middle. Like how many locs will i need?
Number of locs doesnt matter. When sizing keep in mind the areas your hair is the finest ( those should a tab bigger) and the ares where your hair is the most dense ( those locs should be a little smaller

When you are twisting down, do you twist while you twist or are you doing just a simple 2 strand twist? If that makes sense.

Once Interlocked, can the hair be combed out ? Interlocking is basically knots right?
Yes it can with some water and conditioner. They are knots but would be detangled the same way you detangle your curly hair

What is your length requirement?
Have you experienced a hair for extensions that did have color run off and or shedding? I got mine installed 2 weeks ago and while I have had a semi itchy scalp bfore them it’s unbearable lately. The loctician approved for me to wash and also spray scalp with ACV. She purchased the hair, or so i was told . I’m really disappointed and want to take them out. $1100 later and only 2 weeks
I feel your pain. I can attest to QVR hair. I have it installed and there is not itching. It's lightweight and mimics my real hair. My issue is that my hair is so thin and fine that the braids started to slip BAD! It might be because my braids are too big and I used a product when shampooing that caused slippage. I didn't spend as much as you but it was a waste none the less.
Im so sorry that this is what your experience has been. Maybe she didn't wash the hair well beforehand. Maybe if you wash it a few good times it will be better.. there maybe allot of slippage though
