I managed to get a mixed 4 pack of Hawaiian brewed Maui beers online a while ago and they were all pretty good. As always, there’s no doubt in my mind that the locally brewed version will not be as good. Cheers!
Great review as always! It's definitely a huge shame that Maui isn't brewed in Hawaii. I know exactly how you feel; when something has a trademark of a country or culture, you'd expect it to be brewed there. Ah well, at least it's a decent drop. I might definitely have to try this one!
Huh, I did not know Maui Brewing contracted out. Their IPAs aren't my favorites of their line, but their Pilsner and Sour are ones I constantly return to.
I tried this one, recently, scoring a 9/10 "A-" (most excellent). Mine was Hawaii brewed, and I was in the State of Hawaii.
