i like my sweeter malty beers so the old bottle of dog is still a favourite......not as good as it used to be, not as strong unfortunately - it's the water they brew it with nowadays...still very drinkable though......its meant to be drunk cold from a half pint glass frequently topped up......i'm currently temporarily down in Kent in England where they have a proliferation of Shepherd Neame pubs - which I find undrinkable, drain cleaner comes to mind, so gratefully I can get a bottle of Broon from the supermarket to remind me of home....great review

Just discovered you on this video as I'm having a Carlton Draft. 36 yrs old, and has always been my go to beer. Smooth, refreshing on tap especially on a stinking hot day! Will definitely follow to watch more though cheers

You can get a 710ml can of this at 8% here in Canada. It's around $6 here in NS. Apparently, it's totally different from the Colt 45 sold in the US but I think it still tastes alright. That's not unusual though since most Canadian beers and liquors sold in the USA aren't the same as what's sold domestically and vice versa (I really don't understand why but it is what it is). Either way though, if you're main goal is to get drunk, it works.

So sick mate! I love this beer, Ive got to get to Aldi ASAP and stock up! I love this time of year, I also went to Oktoberfest in 2016 and was in the Hofbrau tent all day and had so many steins of this to the point of blackout haha too good!

I live in Queensland and I drove to New South Wales last week to get a case. Yes it is cheap, and that’s it. Not good not bad. I came from china, and I still can’t understand why beers here are so f expensive. I can get the same quality beer for maybe 30 cents in china. And we can get German imported beer for like 1 dollar per can. I lived in Boston for 3 years and the beers there were way much affordable than here. Maybe it is a tax? I’m a beer guy and I’m brewing myself now.

One of my life changer beers in my teenage times. (Next to og Budweiser.) I'm so proud you adore this stuff. Here in europe It's pretty affordable. (Around 2 €.)

This "beer" is totally forgettable imo. The original heineken had a pretty unique hoppy aftertaste a few years ago. But nowadays lost the most of its characters. If you want a decent europian lager choose czech and german pilsners. (And again sry for my lame english.)

Like the review, I noticed that XXXX also has an Ultra - low/no carb beer. You might need to do a review on it soon…
