It’s never been about building a deck or actually having the card. These people want to PULL THE CARD and feel like they are an influencer or won the lotto. People will crack cases and complain that they didn’t that they want 😂 spend thousands to get hundreds, then still don’t have what they want, a dope hit.
as someone who wants to try Pokémon tcg, the demand is wild. I can’t wait for the rotation, even more than in yugioh who did the qcr and rarity spread well im dreading understanding pricing since tcg and collectors chase cards are so separate in pokemon
This set is very underwhelming competitively and that's being nice. Just getting back into the Pokémon TCG and the collecting is very dumb. Just trying to pick up some old cards, in even bad condition, is yikes, and the wallet is on fire.

Robbie no body wants to spend a ton of money on catds because of scarcity. Just causr you can buy and build woth no issue diesnt nean ifs normal for others
tbh i'm amazed the set looks like absolute trash the only good looking terra card every printed was pikachu these eevee would look far better as regular eevee and 2020 had a lot to do with a certain logan scamming people it's to believing pokemon was a guarantee money maker

Pokemon getting bad. In wichita Kansas every card shop been robbed 2 or more for mainly pokemon. They got a 2k cash reward for info for who doing it

Yeah, there's at most a handful of ex's that seem to have any meta relevance and just a few single pricers.
Pokemon went crazy over the holiday season. I could not find Surging Sparks sealed product anywhere (for a reasonable price).
It's still a reasonable price rn compared to what it will be in 5 years.
For something that just released the only reasonable price is MSRP.

What are the chase cards in this set? Are they very competitive? I saw like 2 cards I liked the art of and the rest are awful.
