at 5:03 where the guy talks about the large punch hitbox, it's actually pretty small, the only reason that punch hit was because he punched the immortality disc, and once you actually land the punch then the larger radius effect of the punch happens, but hitting the first punch can be tough
Yeah when he said that all I could think of is the amount of times I've clipped right through a Nem-Ram or Roadhog without hitting them.

I wish they kept the indicator slam mechanic in OW2, It adds so much variety to how you can use it
@ptatoeOW blue indicator on ground = fast dive, no indicator meant slower dive
Both had their own uses, the slower one allowed for more damage on the slam
@ptatoeOW If you were in the air, then you'd slam directly towards where you looked (within a certain range). It was faster and you couldn't be booped away mid-slam, but since you spent less time in the air you usually wouldn't get as much damage as a ground slam.
Since you could only use it when you're in the air, it gave you a reason to use Rocket Punch tech (diags/bounces) - since those would get you into the air without needing to be on high ground first.
@@SteelPokemonFan Not to mention rocket punch cooldown came back faster than slam or uppercut, so you were incentivized to incorporate geometry tricks into normal gameplay to cut back on cooldown rotation wait time

I miss the small things about OW1, mostly the borders and the feeling of earning stars as this passive gain. OW2 feels like it has zero personal progress cause everyone just shares the same unlock pages
Quake accidentally leaks 3 new maps! Excited when Numbani, Volskaya, and Hanamura drop. Also potential new game mode leak? Looked like Hybird but the first part was played twice. Wild shit coming soon /s
For a second, when the OW1 clip came and Doom did the Uppercut, my heart skipped a beat, I played so much Doom on Ow1 and now in Ow2 that I kinda remembered just by that ability what doom was like, that trainwreck of a bug hero, and I loved so much. Still do but damn. Miss you DpsDoom, with all the bug, sleeps, stuns, solo ults, etc. I really miss you.

I'm at peace that I barely encounter any QuakeOn Clones in Quick Play.
Mostly they're just feeders. And I fight them as Ball. They waste their 4-sec punches on me and missing.
Though I had to pocket the team Tankfist so he can be 25% Quake. 🤣
