How to Plan Maternity Leave When You Are Self Employed

As an entrepreneur, planning for maternity leave and thinking about having a baby can open up a whole lot of questions, can I support myself while I’m not working? How do I make sure my business is running smoothly? Can I even afford to have a baby and not work right now?

Having a baby should be as stressless as possible. You became an entrepreneur to make your own way and take control of your life. Maternity leave shouldn’t have to take the wind out of your sails; I hope putting these tips in place before and while you’re pregnant will be a great way to help you feel more secure and allow you to take all the time you need to be with your baby. You’re a new mom or dad! Enjoy every minute of it!
