My wife and I have traveled 7,000 km on train through Europe the past 2 months I am NOT looking forward to plane travel. The simplicity in European travel via train or bus is far superior then in the us. Enjoy your travels!
Sounds great. Did you buy interrail pass or some other pass? Also where did you manage to stay mostly i.e accommodation? And what were the most beautiful routes?
Enjoying your journey and taking plenty of notes. Headed to Tallinn next week, then on to Riga. Cannot wait to walk in your footsteps. Thanks for the recommendations. Go Green!
Too exiting experience with the fire/smoke. I like your positive attitude and willingness to adopt local experiences. Good luck with your jouneys and enjoy new experiences..
Welcome to Europe, lads! As you can see, we Europeans are pretty serious about many things (public transportation, accomodation and so forth). Love this video! Enjoy your travels! Greetings from the deep South of the EU 🇮🇹
They have busses and ferries figured out for sure. I have worked on those buses (remoting to the states) I can't even tell you how many times. Cute Videos guys!
For Your own good. In case of fire do not enter the hallway if not your own flat is on fire. People die of smoke not the fire. You are lucky that there were nice people in the bus. Nobody can listen to a blogger lady for hours. Up here we appreciate relative calm when traveling. Have a nice one!
Thanks for the tips! Question though, is it just the women who shouldn't talk on the bus? The man sitting behind us was on his phone sometimes and we could hear him speaking if we didn't have our headphones in.
@@SOSASATSUNRISE Nope. It's for all genders. Children excluded. Sorry. We are like this, heaven help. As the covid restrictions eased and they lifted the two meters distance order we Finns sighed of relief. Finally we can go back to our natural 3to4 meters natural personal space.
A friend of mine used to live in the building that burned about 10 years ago. She seemed to be the only Estonian speaking resident in there, therefore I saw the police and ambulance in front pretty much every time I visited. In the mornings, residents used to drink on the bench in front, I guess they were either passed out or taken away by the police or ambulance by the evenings.
I am flying from riga to Tallin and it’s just €18, you must to be at the airport 1 hour and a half before. I’m going just for one day very early in the morning and then goes back to Riga the same day, so I recommend to check first. I goes back to Riga by bus because if I flight back is more expensive and case I want to goes back late like 9:30 pm , and I don’t. So check first!
Thank you for the subscribe! We have never seen anyone bring a pet on the buses. We booked our tickets on getbybus.com. The website might have more information on pets.
Always the burger and fries haha. Local food is not that scary. I feel like you guys really missed out on the beer culture in Estonia, though I know you didn't have much time. Hell Hunt pub has incredible dark beer that I believe is specific to that pub, give it a try next time. And they have Estonian food but it's cheap and really good. I don't remember an Estonian dark beer I didn't like. Good for you for exploring the Baltics.
Totally missed this comment! Just wanted to say we did have our fair share of beer in Riga. In the video following this one, we took the guide our Airbnb host gave us and explored many different bars, breweries and restaurants. After traveling through Riga, we actually tell people that Riga is the beer capital of Europe. Move over Germany and Belgium!
A bus being that late is very unusual in our parts. It muts have been due to some construction work or something. But as an Estonian, Tervete is definitely not among my favourite Latvian beers.
That was the best bus to ever get stuck in traffic and have to sit for an extra hour. I got to finish my movie 😀. Tervete was not our favorite either. A lot of good Latvian beer will be in our next video! Thanks for watching!
From what I can tell, it is on Kalnciema Street. The "wrong" door is main entrance to Kalnciema 7A. But they didn't show the right one. Kalnciema 7, perhaps?

Loved your vlogs on Riga. Your narrative is so interesting and still down to earth! Nice job.

Have a nice trip to Latvia!
OMG! Scary! I am so thankful you guys were aware of what was going on and were safe. Continued safe travels! Luv ya
Wifi is a human right in Estonia.
Wifi is so 2000s in Estonia.
Internet access/connectivity is, but no guarantee of a free service or something. Maybe if you're lucky, but it won't necessarily be good.
They have busses and ferries figured out for sure. I have worked on those buses (remoting to the states) I can't even tell you how many times. Cute Videos guys!
Glad I found your site. So far, I would love to be in my 20s or 30s instead of my 70s!! Very interesting!!! Thanks!!

On god you should have visited Pärnu. You would have loved it.
Thanks for the tip! Going on the list.
You guys are just amazing. First video and subscribe! Odd question, do the buses allow pets?
Thank you for the subscribe! We have never seen anyone bring a pet on the buses. We booked our tickets on getbybus.com. The website might have more information on pets.
@@SOSASATSUNRISE thank you
All will be well in the end

What was the Airbnb you stayed in Riga? I am up for having those free beers and staying in what seems to be nice place.
