You do have a good point actually. Rodney’s mum hardly gets any focus in this movie while it’s really all about him and his dad basically. Good observation.
@@CinemaOverAnalyzed when I was young, I loved tinkering with electronics and inventing little gadgets! So Rodney was someone I could personally relate to!

Did you know that there was a tie-in game back when the movie came out on PS2 and other consoles around that time too. I really enjoy it and I still have it to this day.
I had no idea who Jennifer Coolidge was back when this movie first came out. I’m definitely more familiar with her since she was in the first 2 seasons of the white lotus. Have you seen that show at all? Season 1 is really good I think. Season 2 not quite as much.
I have a lot of respect for Jennifer, being in Legally Blonde, and A Cinderella Story. I'm glad she got her awards! I'm still slowly finishing Succession. After that, I might watch White Lotus.
Interestingly enough, this is the only movie from blue sky studios that isn’t on Disney+ at all. Considering they own 20th century studios now. I find it really ironic.
Here in the US, it is on HBO MAX (or MAX whatever it is called now) I'm not sure the same can be said for you in Australia. It is worth looking into if you want to watch it.
@@spontaneouswizard358 good to hear! Childhood memories are precious! I still have my VHS tapes of movies and TV shows that I don't intend on giving away!
“You have your mother’s eyes.” It’s a figure of speech every parent says to this child no matter what, regardless if they’re a robot or not.
I'm sorry, I guess I never heard that one. I've always been told I have my dad's eyes...haha!
@@CinemaOverAnalyzed fair enough then lol
I love the main villain Ratchet. As soon as I hear his name, I think of Ratchet and Clank. My one of my favourite video game series ever!
Ewan McGregor is such a great actor I think. You can’t forget his iconic line as Obi-Wan Kenobi. “Hello there!”

I never knew KENOBI was, copper bottom 😮
Yep, once you know that fact...it can't be unseen...haha!
Absolutely, one of my favorite childhood memories! And I still love it to this day! Extremely underrated!
What's your best memory of watching this film back in the day?

A shame what happened to Ratchet’s dad too being hung up like that. He sadly met the same fate at the end of the movie as well.

There were a lot of tie-in movies back in the day. I unfortunately never got to play it.
@@CinemaOverAnalyzed sorry to hear. It’s so sad we don’t get that sort of thing nowadays anymore unfortunately.

@@CinemaOverAnalyzed yeah all right cool then. How’s succession going so far? The last season was really good I thought. Not what you expect.
I'm at the beginning of season 3. I'm enjoying it! I love the costumes, quirky cinematography, and the music. It really is a well-crafted show.
@@CinemaOverAnalyzed I really like Kieran Culkin’s character. He’s funny I think. Always cracking a joke.
