    as someone with curly hair, when she said a generous amount of cream I was honestly expecting a handful of that stuff lol can't believe what u accomplished with so little product!

    Beautiful! My curls are a lot like hers, and have a tiny bit of natural highlights that I want to accentuate. Can’t wait to get started!

    I have curly hair as well and I wanna get a balayage but I’m so scared, my hair got badly damaged once from highlights with poor quality products at a salon and now my hair is finally healthy and I don’t wanna damage it again 😭😭😭😭 idk what to do 😞

      You should look online for curly hair dressers that specialize in color. You could even call curly hairdressers that have good reviews and ask if they have someone that specializes in color.

      The Demi permanent that she is using are good for that. Because they aren’t using bleach so Demi permanent won’t damage your hair like bleach does but it won’t be super light like bleach offers it.

    • @AB-im4gn
      @AB-im4gn 2 роки тому +2

      They definitely used bleach. The demi used 9 vol, and the highlight used 30 vol which is very high.

    Wow thank you for this! I was only finding videos with straight hair and I didn’t think all those triangles would work on mine lol- wish me luck I’m going to try this on myself in a day or two 😁💃🏽

    I have grey growing through my roots. Should I get my hair all taken back to its natural color, Then get the balliage done? Would I have to wait between processes?

    Which type of highlights are the best for 13 year olds? My hair is the same texture as your clients and this is my first time dying and bleaching my hair.

      Also how should teens prepare their curly hair for highlights? Like is there anything we should do weeks or days prior to the appointment

    Can you do my curly hair? My stylist paints stripes like highlights and tells me its balayage. I'm so disappointed. I can't seem to find a balayage solution for my 6N/6G brown curly hair.

      Hi Heather! This technique will allow your stylist to see a different way to achieve a more natural balayaged look. Send the link to them as inspo for your next visit or screenshot a few key images you love. 😊

    What if your curly client primarily likes to wear her hair straight and wants the balayage effect. Would you approach this the same way?

    • @KenraProfessional
      @KenraProfessional  3 роки тому

      Great question, Victoria! If she likes to wear her hair straight more often than not, you may want to either have her come in with her her straight or straighten it before applying the balayage. Because balayage is typically blended off the scalp, it should still look fine once it is her natural texture.

    As a curly girl, my advice is to please please PLEASE dry the roots of the hair first while diffusing, using the hover method to avoid frizz.

    No wonder hairstylist charge so much for that. A lot of precision work. That lady has a ton of hair. I want to get ballyage, but with curly hair, it doesn't stand out as much.
