It just doesn't seem right to count the "towers" on top of any building to measure its total height. They are after all only "decorations". The true height should be the highest occupied or mechanical floor. But IF you are going to include spires and decorations, then the broadcast towers on top of Willis Tower should be counted also.

The buildings are ranked by official height, which includes the height of the spire, but doesn't include the antennas. As I explained in the video, antennas and spires are different, antennas for TV broadcasting are not considered as spires by CTBUH.

The Chrysler bldg was the tallest in the world when it was built as was the Empire State bldg. Willis tower formally Sears tower was either the 1st or 2nd tallest in the world when it was built. The CN tower was not included here and should have been while it's taller than a lot of these.
This video is about buildings, CN Tower is a telecom tower, not a building. Other towers like Canton Tower, Tokyo Skytree are also not included. I will make a video with both buildings and telecom towers included.

According to CTBUH, to be counted as a building, 50% or more of the building's height need to be occupiable space. For CN Tower, only the section of the pod has a few occupiable floors.
