Honestly looking at the absolute state of Splatoon 3 and the fact they also spat out Splatoon 2 very soon after the first one for switch, i feel its entirely possible for a new Splatoon game getting announced and released later this year. Ive heard people sayin they canceled alot of stuff for 3 like a second DLC in favor of smth other, and we do know through leaks that a new Splatoon Game is in development (I mean of course it is) Thats why i think if we dont hear any news for splatoon 3 like new Maps weopons something even Splatfests, we will be getting Splatoon 4 soon
I was mainly going off the release window from 2 -> 3 but thinking about it, I could see them getting 4 out since it is now one of their biggest new franchises I could see it being another summer release like 2
I can’t believe we are losing Destructoid due to the release date of Metroid Prime 4. This is the least optimal outcome. Also I predict there will be at least one game out for the switch.
