Thats why i live the way i live.....tasmania is my home born here...its always been my IT...the silence of the bush at night...i live in the NE corner with views to mt cameron across a lake i cant see any houses or roads just bush and mountain's ❤❤❤ fills my heart with joy to think so many people want to visit this amazing place🙏

I feel you on the pressure to find camp, we expected to arrive at hopeful camp at 2pm down in WA south, wasn't accessible so we had to keep looking, we couldn't find anything for 2.5 hours and we were wrecked by that time! WOW, what a day!

Amazing place! Did I see tears in your eyes at that lake? I would have teared up as well. I have the Durston 2 and always leave the inner tent attached, makes it a quick setup and easy to pack.
To this day I still regret leaving Tassie, I cut my teeth in the Western Lakes and spent much of my spare time fishing and hiking.
