I LOVE a good summer refresh and had so much fun restyling my home for the season! Let me know what styling tip is your favorite from today’s video and if there’s something you’re adding to your decor to welcome summer into your home!
Ashley, I would love to see you do a video on how you store, maintain, fluff, refresh, etc your art , accessories, comforters, throw pillows, etc. I like to change up and rotate my decor too, and getting it organized and keeping it all fresh and perky looking for the following season is not always easy. I'd love to hear a skilled, experienced interior designer like you speak to how you do it with your belongings. Great video - I loved the the Daphne Oil Candles & the Double Take Vases in your video from your collection today - just elegant and gorgeous!
First off, thank you so much for your kind words! And that’s such a great video idea! I actually keep my collections of accessories/candles/art/etc all where I can get to everything easily. I can for sure do a video on how to organize and store the items for easy access. Thanks so much, such a great video idea!
Super nice! Love your glass murano candle..and your big white vases They make a beautiful statement for the summer. Love, love the magnolias branches in the white vase. I remember the years I lived back in Alexandria,Louisiana...in the years they film The Magnolias . THANK YOU, for the love you put, at your presentation we really appreciate it.
Ashley, I love and can’t wait to watch when you post a video! So classy, always! Love your style and collection! Also, your natural cadence and comfort in front of the camera is getting soooo good!! 🌟 ✨🌟
Just Beautiful! In regards to the vingette with frames on the wall. How do I select the right sizes for a wall to create this look? 2 different sizes. What are the rules to follow? This would be very much appreciated XX
I really just let the art dictate it. I kind of like when frames are a bit different in scale, but still compliment each other in either finish or style. My suggestion is to go with a frame that looks best with the artwork and then group the pieces together that compliment each other. It's really about what you love and what composition makes your eyes light up!
I am so in love with your style. I appreciate your videos so much. However, I do not have the "same" budget. Do you know where I can find an "affordable" high back chair similar to the white chairs in your living room?
I LOVE sourcing vintage when I can. Places online like FB Marketplace, Chairish and Ebay can be such a resource for great affordable pieces. I also love shopping local as much as possible. There's some great vintage and resale shops that I frequent to source amazing/affordable chairs. I've scored some really great ones!
I always heard to use groups of 3 or 5 when placing items. I notice that you don't stick to that rule. How do you make everything look so perfect? Is it trial and error? Because i am good at that😂😂
Well, I think that sometimes it's a bit more dynamic to go with a pair of items. It really is just trial and error like you said. I play around with styling and composition, and end up just going with my gut on things. Really it's all about what pleases your eye and makes you happy.... no matter if that means a grouping of 2, 3, 5 or 10 things! Happy styling!

@@ashleychilders Thank you! I think you know when it is "right".
Beautiful pieces, just too expensive :(
You have lovely hands.
Awe, thank you!
I like you a lot more without the over the top southern accent, and yes I am southern.
I was born and raised in Arkansas. I couldn’t tone down my southern accent even if I tried 😅😅
Love, love her southern accent! I’m from the Midwest…
