My friend if you want to compare the cameras you have to compare them first of all with the previous year models.... Also talk about the price now.... What you get for the money... Both of the smartphones you compared are priced over 1100 euros. Now th e P40 pro is priced at 599 euros in Greece.

My opinion is: Samsung has better camera, pictures and videos. Huawei has better battery. Biggest question here is google. Think about it it's important if you use lots of google apps don't buy huawei it will always has problems with it 👍

Hello, Need your help to solve OTA update. I bought my P40 pro in Sep'2020 and installed Google in October '2020 with UA-cam vedio by Redskull of Mr. Alex. For your information that my P40 is running excellent, all banking, wallets, food ordering apps including all google apps running smoothly. The only issue I have is that not received OTA till date after I installed GMS. My phone is on EMUI 10 and build number is 10.1.0.131 (C636E8R6P1). Is it that I have done some error on installing the GMS that restricted to get OTA update? If possible please help me on this issue so that I can get EMUI 11 and other security updates. If you installed GMS by downgrade your firmware maybe you downgrade with wrong firmware. You can try go to recovery and use e-recovery update. I have video about this 👍

I also tried the eRcovery from the instructions from your UA-cam vedio. The eRecovery didn’t work and response is "Get package info failed". Please see screenshot as attachments here. The firmware finder apps response is " Most probably the firmware is removed from the server". Pls see attachment. The information I gave you here is to know the actual situation and help you find any solution that will help many of us. Actually I have seen all most all your vedios on P40. i have p40, and also very satisfied for the price. Pictures are ok if you fire 2-3 shots just to be sure, and all cameras are usable not main only. Video is not good in colour and focusing , but it is usable. Not fan of different huwei id regional settings. Not a fan of huawei health. Also support is rubish - they will answer you without real answer. I disabled fingerprint sensors I had very low recognitions, but face regognition is working great.

Sadly push notifications will not work correctly natively and with Gspace. If google is not the most important then use Gspace 👍

Give all permissions to Gspace and check battery management.

Use my vide Full guide to install GMS. Update via hisuite proxy but select normal instead of rollback. And this time select correct version.
