It looks like you missed a sand tiger shark tooth at 6:13 in the bottom right corner. Maybe I'm seeing things but that sure does look like a tooth.

Good eye! That’s the edge of a modern oyster valve that’s partially covered with mud. It certainly does look like a coin! 😂

Yes! There’s material from the Goose Creek Limestone at IOP with fossil shells and other marine vertebrate fossils to be found. Check out our “How to Find Shark Teeth” video for tips on how to search through the shells at IOP. We’ve gotten a good mix of fossil material there!

Yes we have! There are a fair number of them at the dredge islands around town. But most of our material is from the Oligocene epoch.
At the 2:10 min mark of your video, if you look in the lower left corner, there is a jaw bone with many teeth on it. Do you know what that could be from?
Good eye! While those appear to be teeth, that’s a small fragment of a stingray spine!

At 14:49 I think that chunk of coal distracted you from a tooth, you can see it just below your pinky.
It certainly looks like one! You never know at these sites…they’re so fossiliferous, it’s always a fun game to see how many teeth you missed during video editing. 😂😂
