Generally I don't like K-pop, but in early 2020, when I was bored during the social distancing and browsing youtube, I saw Hip and then this song, and completely felt in love with Mamamoo. The thing with K-pop is, a lot of the groups only has a main vocalist and the style is quite generic, and instrumental part is repetitive electronic beats. But MMM 's music has the subtle instrumental layers, in combination with their vocal, it's just so so captivating. Even in songs like Hip, which the singing part is not as powerful as their other hits, the subtleness of the instrumental is just awesome. I remembered watching Wanna Be Myself everyday for a week, trying to find every layers of instrumental that's there. The violin, drums, guitar, bass, synth was mixed so well, to praise their voice. And this song is just the ultimate flex in vocal I've ever seen in K-pop lol. Another thing is, Wanna Be Myself and Aya has awesome cinematography, kudo to the directors and producers lol.
Also Mamamoo never referred as idol like other Kpop group but an ARTIST group. Even they got approved and respected by veteran singers and musicians in South Korea. They even slayed any kind of genre from retro,jazz,bossa nova,R&B,ballad,pop rock,hip-hop,Latin,electro and even innocent cutesy which they hate most😂💚💚

She is an all-arounder. No doubt about it. Mamamoo as a whole groups doesn't lack in any aspects when it comes to the Kpop genre. What really drew me into them is thier live stages. They are one of if not the best performers in 3rd gen. Mamamoo is one of my biggest inspirations and it's very easy to see why. Also an unrelated note: This group is where I show least favoritism. I love all the members equally and I cannot say that for any other group I Stan. Each member has and still continues to prove themselves to me.

I was wondering how they would incorporate rap into a ballad, and then she hits me with her singing voice. I can’t wait for the live stages!! I love all Mamamoo's songs, but I don't hesitate in calling this one a perfect song. Everything in this masterpiece is right. Wow, they can do it all. This is stunning, so mature. Moonbyul’s vocals subtle but deep, love it. I heard the vibrato. Solar just flat out belts. Wheein’s runs are silky. Hwasa’s has so much range and drops her voice mid-note. Their voices are just beautiful and they look gorgeous.
Honeslty, like every mamamoo song so far, this one was just equally amazing and mindblowing, if not more. All four members slayed but can we all just take a moment and appreciate how hard moonbyul worked to improve for us. She joined the group as a vocalist, but had to change to rap in order to debut as the other 3 were better. After debut, she had to deal with constant attacks of her being talentless, and simply riding off the talents of the other members simply because she was not a vocalist. She released covers, showcasing her smooth vocals, a section in the last comeback and even a solo, proving that she could sing better than some lead vocals in other groups. But never fully vocal in a comeback. And now shes here with her vocals to shut all those that ever doubted her. Moonbyule, youre amazing and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. May mamamoo dominate 2018 with all 4 amazing, talented and kind artists.

항상 마마무 노래에 3명의 보컬과 한명의 래퍼가 있어서 이번 노래도 들을 때 자연스럽게 랩이 있을 거라고 생각했는데 문별이가 랩이 아니라 보컬로 다가와줘서 더 고마운 것같아요. 노래도 정말 좋은 것 같아요. 솔라의 파워풀한 목소리, 화사의 허스키한 목소리, 휘인이의 가녀리지만 힘이 있는 목소리, 문별이의 목소리까지.. 4명이 함께 부르니 더 좋은 것같아요..

Wow, they can do it all. This is stunning, so mature. Moonbyul’s vocals subtle but deep, love it. I heard the vibrato. Solar just flat out belts. Wheein’s runs are silky. Hwasa’s has so much range and drops her voice mid-note. Their voices are just beautiful and they look gorgeous.
Honeslty, like every mamamoo song so far, this one was just equally amazing and mindblowing, if not more. All four members slayed but can we all just take a moment and appreciate how hard moonbyul worked to improve for us. She joined the group as a vocalist, but had to change to rap in order to debut as the other 3 were better. After debut, she had to deal with constant attacks of her being talentless, and simply riding off the talents of the other members simply because she was not a vocalist. She released covers, showcasing her smooth vocals, a section in the last comeback and even a solo, proving that she could sing better than some lead vocals in other groups. But never fully vocal in a comeback. And now shes here with her vocals to shut all those that ever doubted her. Moonbyule, youre amazing and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. May mamamoo dominate 2018 with all 4 amazing, talented and kind artists.

U all know harmonizing is their speciality, but in this song I don't mind that there is no harmony. This song allow them to showcase their individual ability, which I also appreciate. By the way, Byul finally stepped out of her comfort zone so give her some times guys, I'm sure she would get more part in the future when she is MORE confident with her vocal.

I'm a Moomoo forever! I literally can not find another kpop group male and female together that are like Mamamoo. They are so awesome and their synergy is on another level. Their songs, vocals and performances seem as natural as air. Absolutely love them!
Ok, I'll be honest. The first time I watched this, I got distracted by how beautiful they are, but watching it for the second time made me appreciate it more.. The lyrics are so beautiful and combined with their voices, made me more emotional than I thought I could be.
