The Wire definitely should have won a couple of Emmys.
Award shows are great at sorting out the usual suspects, less great at recognizing Groundbreaking. The fourth season of the wire blew me away, like nothing ever has.

Snoop a hood killer to the bone but sat and listened to the hardware store worker and learned something because it was interesting to her and pertinent to her life in Baltimore. It was in direct correlation to the kids in the school system who are smart and can learn but only if it’s interesting to them and pertinent in their life. Michael K Williams death was so unexpected. The man is a legend, he been in all major tv shows of the 2000s. I just finished watching Boardwalk Empire a couple weeks ago, and now found out he passed... All day I feel sad, he was my favorite actor.
