Hope that the power and torque figures are in the usable rpm range and doesn't flat out in the top gear like the competition... I mean, I wouldn't like to downshift when I want to overtake. Rather, I would like to have the power at the pedal whenever I need... Hope this happens...

The car seems cool, but I feel it is overpriced compared to the competition (City itself feels overpriced but that's another topic), and Skoda's poor after sales service reputation is another issue of concern. Really want them to do well and revive the dying sedan segment though.
I have always admired the build quality and finesse of Skoda cars. But of late, there is a huge compromise on build quality, fit and finish of Skoda cars.

@@skodaindia I booked Skoda 1.5MT...Came to know that sub woofer is discontinued...I think it's not a upgrade, actually it's a degrade....I am upgrading from Honda City to slavia...impressed from it's 1.5Lt engine and music...but disappointed from it's music system and sub woofer unavailability
