- This is a taste test/review of four Premium Swiss Chocolate Bars from BetterGoods (Walmart brand). Bars include Cookie Butter Filled Milk Chocolate Bar, Dark Chocolate with Key Lime Pie Flavored Filling, Plant-Based 55% Dark Oat Chocolate and Plant-Based 55% Oat Chocolate Bar with Tart Cherries and Pistachios.

Caramel sugar crunch sounds very satisfying in a chocolate bar.

I have never liked lemon or lime in chocolate. My taste buds cant see them as complementary flavors.
3 squares. That is way too vague for me. Technically i could break the whole bar in 3 squares. Thank u for the review!

The plain plant based bar would be my choice if I could only choose between the four.
Seems odd that they didn't mold it into a segmented bar though. I guess you could weigh out portions and divide them into bags, but you shouldn't have to go through that kind of trouble.
Thanks for this review. I haven't tried the Bettergoods chocolate yet. So far the only Bettergoods products that I've liked are the Columbian and South American coffees. I've actually bought them again when I ran out.
Over the weekend, I tried the Bettergoods lemon chiffon cookies. I was disappointed and wouldn't buy again. The cookies are OK, but you only get 9 small cookies wrapped in 2 tons of plastic for $3. That was enough for me. One and done. 😅

Was hoping the one with milk chocolate would be good, I think I'll pass on all of these
I enjoyed the cookie butter one, but wouldn't buy it again, it just didn't "wow" me.
At the Walmart I shop at, the only bar they have is the 90% dark chocolate. If I want to try one I don’t want to go all over town to find it. If I had to choose one, I’m going with the plant based cherry and pistachio. I’m surprised at the dark

I’m not sure if you’re 100% correct about these better goods not selling… I know a lot of people made a switch to Aldi’s when they started selling more organic and gluten free products at much more reasonable prices instead of the fancy grocery stores… so maybe Walmart is trying to appeal to those people… I think many people are tired of paying a lot more to feel like they are buying high quality products and healthy food for their families… who doesn’t like to save a little money????
I’d rather buy a better tasting candy bar - even at Walmart 😃 They sell much better brands at great prices.
As I'm watching this, I am having the milk chocolate bar. It seems waxy. Dove is better
