For the hole saw/getting to your ground strap, check out Rivnuts sometime. Ive used them for grounds in cars without issue. Its like a rivet but threaded like a nut. So you can have a threaded spot to put a bolt anywhere you want
You need to get yourself a m18 track saw! It takes up less space then that of a mitre saw/ table saw and you get the same versatility (almost) for cordless router/ planer you almost should go bosht 18v just surely for the design and small form factor! Love your stuff guys keep em coming ❤️
Wow. What a well-thought-out suite of tools you've managed to tuck away!! Maybe worth a thought since you are not finished with the build yet. Safe travels around this amazing continent!
Used to live in Las Cruces. The Organ Mountains could get very windy through the pass from the East. Traveled through highway 70 many times to Alamagordo. Milwaukee bits suck for drilling, and I LOVE Milwaukee tools. I have found that the Harbor Frieght Warrior Cobalt bits are longest lasting and strongest bits I have ever used.

I might have missed it, but if you don't have it already Milliput putty resin is great for fixing literally everything. Plumbers pipes, anything plastic, it sets when wet, it bonds practically any two things together, fills small holes, you can even use it like clay to create a replacement component part, it sets rock solid, handles heat well too.
@@MorleyKert JB Heatweld is far better for items that get quite hot, it can stand much higher temperatures than Milliput. Which one you'd want to use depends on use, Milliput doesn't shrink as much. Milliput is also completely fine touching things that come into contact with food and water. JB are wishy washy on whether or not they're always food safe. They're usually rated toxic until fully cured, which they say needs to be at least 24 hours.
On that note, standard RV equipment is a propane detector. Some of them I think are also propane / CO detectors. Must have. Also, any space that holds propane should be ventilated at the bottom. Propane is heavier than air and will gather in low spaces, being that the battery system is at the same level, it would be very wise to vent the propane compartment to the outside.
Your tool picks seem well curated. And like you said, good news is you have a van, so if you need something else you can just drive to any shop and borrow/rent tools!! Also, I thought those were the Las Cruses mountains, but you didnt mention it and I was sad. At the end you did and it made me happy for recognizing them lol!!
I love the van, but I'll stick with my homemade slide-in camper. It gives me two vehicles in one. A simple unload and I've got a pickup. I sure do like your not having to get out of the vehicle to get into the living quarters. Hello again, Ontario Morley from Nova scotia Morley. 😃
I've lived in "Las Crusas" since 1998 or 99 when I was just 4, and I've never heard it pronounced like that. I don't know the origin of the name "Las Cruces" or "the crosses," but I'm hoping I can get the hell out of this state of poverty (land of entrapment, not enchantment)

For now, it’s mostly situational/behavioural solutions, not technological. If we’re in a city, only park in well trafficked areas, take valuables with us, put up window covers. We’ll probably add some security features eventually.
if youre ever on the lookout to replace your driver, check out the milwaukee 12v fuel installation driver. Bit pricy but it's so incredible light and clips to the belt, you don't even feel the thing. the set comes with extra chucks which allow 90 degree, offset and a drill chuck to be attached. If you wanna go even crazier, check out the AEG Omni Pro. 7 head multitool that does reciprocating saw, jigsaw, multitool, angle driver, dremel, ratchet and angle drill all on battery. Might be worth it for the van!
Butyl tape is pronounced "Bew-tull", for future reference, Morley. Good selection of tools and repair supplies, btw. quick edit: Suggestion for two more tools to add: Regular and needlenose vice grip wrenches. Working on a vehicle, you'll need them.

the nice thing about a track is that it doesn't take up much space.
Honestly in my opinion you didn’t need to count each type of tape to your list.
Also I respect going for 69 tools cuz funny number rather than like 70

I'm from Brazil, and I always wonder why the heck it is called "duck tape"? 😂 Now I realized it is "duct tape". Make so muck sense now kkk
No; it started in WWII as a waterproof tape for canvas duck tarps.
It’s extra confusing because “duck tape” is a brand of duct tape
@@MorleyKert DUCK tape!

This is waaay too much tool weight for the end of the world. You can only get away with this because you are close to a gas station 😂

hey Morley! isn't it a bit dangerous to have that propane tank all closed up inside that box? thinking of leakes and stuff like that

Have you thought about larger tyres and better springs? That Rig would be better suited this way.
I have a complete commercial wood shop in Delaware if you need anything on the east coast. Holler.
Can you share the stl for the laptop holder please?
I put it on printables - www.printables.com/model/672784-wall-mounted-laptop-holder-fits-16-macbook-pro
Printing projects for the interior of a vehicle out of PLA is a mistake. Use Bambu Lab PAHF-CF or PET-CF.
I primarily use PETG
