Yes sir. I understand, It sure is cold here too. I think they're going to bite good after it starts to melt down a little bit. everything is a frozen tundra right now. Most of the lakes are still frozen. 😢
It was cold here last week. Parts of the lake was frozen over here in South Carolina. Today it was around or close to 70 degrees and felt like spring. I’m ready to get out for some crappie fishing. Thanks for the videos!
Fishyanker, Thank you for the videos, it sure looks like a great cold weather hobby . Your jigs look real good, stay warm looks like a cold front coming. Mr. James info would be helpful. Take care
Tip to help your jigs last longer...Make good whip finishes on your jigs 2-3 after the base layer of thread on the hook before adding materials to your hook, then 3-5 whip finishes to your final jig, add a touch of Solarez Bone Dry or Hard as Nails on the final whip finish. Always make good tight wraps with your thread on the base layer on the hook.
Yank!!! The weather we’re having I doubt crappie could swim lol. It was 4 degrees this morning. The video was great. No wind sound at all. Don’t know what set up you have but it was great. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you. I have some new wind blockers on my GoPro cameras now. After this trip I think they do a really great job. That wind was so strong I couldn't even hear myself. 😂. Appreciate you watching Proud Papaw
If that’s where I’m thinking it is, I’ve tried fishing the big part of there and they are tough. Real stumpy. But I have seen some really nice crappie come from there.
It's to cold for me to fish in nc
