Too bad the fight is so short that, unless you’re REALLY bad at the game, there’s a high chance you won’t even here the solo during the battle (I didn’t even know there was an epic solo until later because of how many times I had practiced timing with that boss stage, and I didn’t pay to music in games as much back then)! And I didn’t even know the song was actually in the PC version!
@@DadNDaveI assume it's the same deal with Biolizard and Egg Emperor. Bosses on 3DS while just the songs are on the console version's jukebox. Of course we'll be getting a console Biolizard fight very soon with Sonic X Shadow.

When I was a kid I had no idea Insta-Shield had an extended hitbox and did damage (because it literally calls itself a shield) so Big Arms was 10x harder. For anyone wanting a challenge, fight Big Arms in sonic 3 the same way; no insta-shield. Trust me, it becomes the hardest boss in sonic. It's possible but man is it hard to do!
My first time playing Sonic 3, I blazed through both bosses in Launch Base Zone with Super Sonic. Thinking it would be the same deal with Big Arms, I foolishly tried to hit it. Surprisingly, it had a hold of me but no big deal, I’m Super Sonic, I’m invincible. But then it happened, Big Arms Power Bombed me into the ground. The shock of it all is that it hurt Super Sonic! Super Sonic lost rings! All of them. Instinctively you want to collect all the ring you can get when you drop them but in this case it’s to your disadvantage. With all your rings gone, you can barely collect 5, but the ring counter is still going down. And after that, you’re fighting Big Arms, no rings and no idea where to hit him. Eventually you die and start at the checkpoints but this time, you barely have any rings to turn into Super Sonic again. So you try your he best to beat both bosses without losing all you rings just to try and fight Big Arms again. 💀

Big Arm was a boss in the 3DS version of Sonic Generations, so that’s why it got a revamp
