Hii! I am the one who submitted the last cage! Thank you for the tips! Sadly one of my boys had gotten very hormonal and started attacking all of the other three i had! I had to surrender Morris, the one who had attacked my other boys. Along with Smores because they were bonded again after that incident but the other two couldn’t get along with them. However, I love all your amazing tips! I have bought two new water bottle for my two remaining boys. The cage is now a L shape with an extension of a 2x2! Thank you for the tips about joan’s and walmart too!
I had a guinea pig and I didn't have a lot of time to look after him his name was muffin and I gave him away because of the lack of time I had but I really miss him and would love another one or two but anyway I absolutely love your videos and find them very educational keep up the good work ❤❤
I know I'm just a random stranger online so this probably won't mean much, but thank you for putting your guinea pig first and caring about him enough to do what's best for him. It really takes a good pet parent to be able to do that❤
We all know that guinea pigs need a friend. They do not need to be entertained by humans. Of course you need time to care for them properly. Honestly, you were not able to give your first guinea pig the setting and the care he needed (friend, time) and got rid of him. So you’d better not get another one and put it in the same sad situation.
@@whatsthestorymorningglory61 this could’ve happened awhile ago. They were misinformed and unprepared but now there is more resources and they have more knowledge on proper care. If they want 2+ Guinea pigs now and have the funds and knowledge then what’s the problem? Don’t be judgmental. If they have the time when they get new pigs then I don’t see a problem.

He wants „another one or two“ (quote), so my perception is clearly that things haven’t really changed and it’s his need for another piggie which comes first. Because he misses the first one he’d given away. 🤨 It’s okay to make mistakes. It’s not okay to make them over and over again due to selfishness and let others pay for that 🤷♀️But well, in all those years, maybe he’s never come across the information that guinea pigs are social animals who at least should have a cage buddy.

I have a Guinea pig and he’s so adorable and chubby and his name is Eggnog I named him after a crk character my other Guinea pigs are girls one is cocoa one is vanilla and the other is latte, latte and vanilla trusted me and my sister the most, Latte and vanilla licked our fingers all the time, and this one time my sister got a grass splinter and vanilla took it out of her finger and ate it!
Thanks for reviewing mine (cage 2) umm that is pebbles here sister just died like 3 weeks ago and I was gonna get a 4x2 Kavee cage with 1x2 loft and I refilled the hay right after I don’t know how to get another Guinea pig
Hi there! The issue isn’t that the hay was low but the rack you’re using. It’s too difficult to get hay out of. Just put the hay in a pile inside her cage. You can adopt guinea pigs from local rescues - I linked a website in the description for you that has rescues.
This is an old video, but I wanted to say something, many guinea pig owners talk about toys, that we need to provide them, that we don't have enough, etc. But not all guinea pigs like them, I've had many little piggies and I've tried to offer different toys and to this day they are still new, I offer them to every new piggie and non of them like any of the products I have. So my cages have no toys because it's a waste of space since they aren't interest at all 🤷🏻♀️
I can’t assume based off these pics that their pigs don’t like toys! I have one who is less interested but I still offer a few. They don’t take up much space and at the very least he can roll them around.

I'm my country wet don't have all the variety I see you have in your videos, the pig room makes so many different ones, but we only have access to oxbow products and a few others made with unsafe materials, so that's what I've tried and they ignore their existence in their enclosure 😂

Thank you for showing our cage! It was number 7! The water bottles are by the food bowls but the cage is so big I couldn't get the whole cage in the picture lol
I had lone guinea pig for 6 years, he couldnt be bonded, he was a right grump, he was housed in the frontroom where he had lots of attention and loving, at night he had classical radio on ...he was just fine, so saying some one can't keep one is not true but i agree 2 or more is better if possible.
@@jenewok some humans dont mind their own company either, i had a guinea pig that didnt want to bond ...if you are a good owner and the situation is that you can keep one ... Healthy loved and entertained then i would rather that than see all these single guinea pigs being handed in at pet shops to sit in a tiny glass cube.

You should of not surrendered it! It could of been solved by separation

The grids are 14 inches not 12. So I’d have to convert the grids to inches, then back to feet. Can’t do that in my head.
