I saved an old wand and cleaned it. To use as a lash separator. It helps de-clump any lashes that try to stick together.

Thank you for this tutorial. I have found using an eye lash primer and wriggling the mascara from bottom to top always increases length and volume of my lashes. I think using a curler as you suggest would enhance them even more. Thanks so much for another informative video.
What eyelash primer you use?
Well I'm late but i always show up as i love all the videos, i also use a primer first mine is white the name is
Lancome Cils Booster EL and then my mascara is Mon Sieur Big by Lancome I've never had any like it definitely wouldn't need to add any lashes but i haven't been curling wow I'm gonna curl mine first today when im getting ready i bet they will really pop lol i try to save this kind as much as can and use my cheaper Believe Beauty High Drama Fiber it's ok for for sure to only be either 4 or 5 $ at the dollar store it surprised me to be a very cheap one it's the one in dark red the one in the black container is no good but love love the one made by Lancome with primer
Great video! Who knew? I never used a curler until a year ago as I find getting older my lashes aren't as naturally curly as they used to be but I forget to use it most times. I also tried primer recently but I didn't find it made a big difference. I'll have to give your brand recommendation a try. Thank you. :)
Love the tutorial. I only wear mascara however I am unsuccessful in mastering proper application. I make so much mess on my lid.

I've been using waterproof Maybelline full & soft for 21 years and could never find a mascara better then that kind i have a feeling it's the wand that I like. I love how it applies mascara to my eye lashes.
Saving a wand after the mascara is done. Once cleaned. The old wand can be used as a lash separator. It helps with the look!
Maybe you can save a brush and try it with a different mascara formula.

I need all the lash help I can get! I have short blonde lashes that lay inward toward my nose.. They stick straight out, so I've tried using the heated lash curler but it doesnt do much good. Thank you for these tips!

You can also clean and keep the mascara applicator from an old mascara, or buy a disposable "spoolie" brush (eyebrow brush), and use either to comb through your eyelashes.

I have Asian hooded eyes and my eyelashes are super long. When I curl them they are almost touching my brow bone. I only need mascara to make them black, cuz they are light brown almost blonde. 😅
I can’t use mascara because my lashes lose the curl right away but I don’t want to use water proof .
@@SleeplessinOC Why you don’t want to use waterproof mascara? If it’s because the removal is hard. There’s mascaras out there that are waterproof and easy to remove.
@@cathykim2268 because they make lashes weak and fall out over time . Do you use waterproof ?
@@SleeplessinOC I’m my case I find that my they’re real mascara by benefit holds the perfect curl, it does loosen the curl if I over curl my lashes but to the perfect amount, as long as I don’t apply too much mascara (which I don’t even like doing anyway)
The amount of times I wrote the word curl gives me something 💀

Can you show how you look in the mirror while you’re doing your lashes? When I do mascara it’s everywhere on my eye, I have almost the same shape of eyes, that’s why I don’t like use mascara, too much to clean. And second question if you touch somewhere on the lid how do you clean after, especially with eyeshadows. Thank you
I’ve heard that the best way to clean up mascara on the lid is by letting it dry, then you pick those disposable lash brushes or a brow one without any product and you clean it up with that.
The way I apply mascara is by looking down because if I look up I get the mascara all over my lid
