Well done. You have a lovely watch now. I’m considering fitting an adjustable clasp onto my watch, can you tell me where you bought yours and the cost of it? Thanks for a great vid.
Thank you. I got it from eBay a long time ago when they were much cheaper (under $100). You might want to try calling an Omega boutique, some of them are willing to sell parts like this. These are the part numbers for the clasps that can be used: 117STZ004666 - 3 clicks adjustment 117STZ001154 - 6 clicks adjustment 117STZ001159 - 6 clicks adjustment w/diver extension If you want to install the clasp on the older type of bracelet like the one in my video, then you would also need two clasp links (part no. 118ST1589), four screws (3307), and two pins (0166).
Hi mate, great video, could you advise which pins have you used to connect end link from micro adjustment bracelet to link of 2254 bracelet? all I saw only used screw link for connecting on yours it seems it is just pin
Thank you. The pin which is visible is simply the regular pin you find in a 1610/930 bracelet (the collar is also installed, so it does not move at all). It is too long to allow the screws for the endlink to be installed, but I imagine if you are willing to shorten the pin slightly, you can make it so that the screws can be installed on the endlink, which would create a cleaner look.
In general I am still surprised that Omega on a 5000$ sports/dressy piece sucha as Aqua Terra does not offer a bracelet clasp with any form of practical adjustment. I bought just recently a 41mm Aqua Terra, and was lucky that I could fit it by additional removing a half link, but I still feel that microadjustment would be practical for the period when my wrist swells due to daily activity.
Yes, it really needs to be addressed. I would like to see them implement it in a smaller form than the adjustable clasp on the Seamaster Pro....that one is way to massive for a watch like an AT.
Hi there. Great video. I have this watch, and I want to install that clasp. The AD said they don't know if it's the smp300 clasp or the PO clasp? They said the model number I gave them was for the PO. Also I think you put in screws into the end links, where it meets the 2264 bracelet. The AD said she didn't know if that would work, since it's a pin and collar bracelet Are you able to assist please? Thank you
Hi, there are part numbers for the different clasps that would work. There are at least 3 that work for this swap: 117STZ001154 117STZ001159 117STZ004666 You can put the screws on the connecting links, with the "floating" pin in the middle. You wouldn't need to use the collar.
push button is nice but the new clasps are too bulky. the best seamasters are from the 90s. thin and dressy. i got the same watch 2264.50.00 its my favorite piece in my collection.
