They were SO CLOSE when they made this. SO CLOSE. I wanted the loud/shocking original sound for when activating a clow card. That kills it. T.T
Actar is so energetic. I absolutely love his enthusiasm. The review is so detailed too. Love it.
They should make the Syaoran's sword that reads the cards with Syaoran's voice

Oh I see they didnt use the original sound when scanning because since the speakers are low quality it would sound more like just noise rather than what you hear in the anime.
I know for the Sakura cards, "The Nothing" Sakura card version exists if you pre-ordered the products, but do you know if "The Nothing" Clow version exists as well?
OMG!!!!!! This is so cooooooooooool !!!! You remind me of my obsession for clow cards long long time ago (or maybe still). Lol
I wish they would remake the Sakura sealing staff with the features you wanted such as make the sounds thing, have the phrase switch, and etc.
They forgot Watery's sentence...
Before you even brought it up I was already confused and thought the motion sensor somehow had to get in the way of scanning the cards, it's a very contradicting design.

i actually had a question.
i noticed that in the photos i continue to see of the limited time store in japan with these items, they have a speaker cord and speakers hooked up to the clow wand right where the power stitch is....do you know if the was just a specially made model for the store itself? what is your opinion? it would be wonderful to be able to do something like this with the wand on display. :)
Ooh, I haven't seen those pictures yet. Yeah, it's most likely a modified version that was made for the store. Though, I don't think it would be impossible to connect it to an external speaker yourself. Of course, it would entail rewiring and soldering.

Yup! As I showed off in the Clow Cards review video, I pretty much got the whole set. (^.^;)

do the cards work with the star wand as well? or only for the first edition staf?
Nope! Unfortunately not. You have to purchase all the cards all over again. To rub salt into the wound? The Sakura Cards activate the exact same voice clips in the Star Wand.

Use newer batteries? You have to be a little bit more specific when describing your problem. (^.^;)
Lol my bad. The sound didn't work...makes a strange ticking sound when i turned it on. AmiAmi also suggest that I try newer batteries that aren't rechargeable. Apparently they got alot of complaints about this lol.
mine can't scan the card but it produces sound perfectly when i swing it. what should i do?
Pearly Pearl Are you tapping it at the right spot? Double check where you're tapping vs the way it's shown in this video!
from the video we can see that the wand will react automatically when being brought near to the card. I have tried so many times in many ways but still can't.
